Myra took a step back when Caleb returned Splash into the trailer, observing with a smile. She really enjoyed seeing the two react, reminding her of her own relationship with Adonis; she figured he was probably resting by now. When he headed back over to the fire, she followed suit and promptly settled back into her own chair. Myra allowed the silence to fall over them, feeling relaxed and rather content, whether it be because of the beer or a different factor.

"Where you from?" He asked after a long while of silence. "I grew up here"

``I`m from here as well, but from the outskirts,`` Myra replied with a small laugh, leaning back in her chair. The Taylor Family ranch was a rather large one and was isolated, dozens of acres of land that was the place of residence for the family itself, cattle, and top-notch barrel horses. It was rare for people to visit, mostly because her parents preferred it that way. Lily, however, seemed to drag a guy home once a week or so, something Myra frowned upon. She didn`t trust strangers around any of the animals.

Caleb nodded and listened curiously to her. She seemed to get better and better with no end. "What do you compete in?" He asked, wanting more about her

|
|

|
``Barrel racing,`` Myra replied, sighing softly. Truth be told, she had been raised into the sport, which was not surprising given that her parents were incredibly renowned within the association itself. It was dreadful sometimes due to the high expectations and standards everyone held due to them, but she had managed to not disappoint them too much yet. Besides, Adonis had saved her on multiple occasions. ``Been doing it my whole life basically.``

Caleb nodded, listening. "I'd tell you what I do, but i'm assuming you already saw me earlier" He said, chuckling. He leaned back in his chair, sighing with contentment

She nodded in agreement, reflecting what she had seen. Truth be told, she did not know too much about roping, but she did know that he had done a pretty good job given his fast time. Eventually, she replied, ``You`re really good at it.``

'night!) "Thanks. It's taken a lot of blood, sweat, and tears but it's all worth it." He said quietly. He smiled over at her, trying to memorize her face again

|
``It`s always worth it,`` she agreed quietly as she looked away from him and back towards where Adonis was lounging. The stallion had clearly finished munching on his hay, shifting to and fro as he examined his surroundings. She had learned that he was a night owl, refusing to sleep until he was absolutely exhausted; it annoyed her sometimes.

"He looks a bit keyed up" Caleb commented, shifting his gaze as well
