Adeline jumped in surprise as she was greeted... she looked the young man up and down not recognizing him at first but then it hit her "Oh!" She said in surprise "You're the young man my brother and I took in a while ago... You seem much better now..." She commented "How's your back healing?" |

"Yes,I am much better now." He says,slipping off a passer's gold chain. "Okay,I guess.Scars are still there.Mentally and physically." Gale fiddled the chain through his fingers,eyeing it before shoving it into his cloaks pocket. "Uh,I never quite caught your name.Mind giving it to me?" He asks,a charm in his voice. |

"Good... well uh not about the scars... that you're healed." She said quickly a sheepish grin on her face "Uh... would you like a pastry?" She offered "These are the best in town." She said happily before "Oh! Right... Adeline." She told him with a smile "And you?" |

"Yeah,kind've healed.No,I won't have anything bought by somebody else.Feel it's sort've disrespectful to me,when somebody else pays.That's why I usually buy instead of others." He said,asking for a scone. "Gale,Gale Hummendeaus.Wanted nationwide criminal,I know and I don't care." Gale says casually,asking what pastry she wanted. |

Adeline sighed gently shaking her head but... she respected his wishes and asked him to buy her the strawberry jelly pastry "Well it is a pleasure to officially meet you Gale." She purred before chuckling "I don't care either... I believe everyone makes mistakes... But I think the justice system is wrong... they should be given a chance to ammend their mistakes." She said simply. |

"They really should." He says,paying before spotting a guard and tucking the cloaks hood over his head,tipping his head down until they've passed. "Wait,Adeline.As in the queen?" Gale kept glancing back,seeing her following. "Damn it," He muttered under his breath,stealing a sack of coins from somebodys pocket.Gale ran faster,legs pounding against the streets,running out of the kingdoms gates,not seeing her.He sighed,beleiving he was fine,slowing to a jog and running into a forest area,slowing to a walk as he pulled up to a shelter along a creek. |
