The mention of being stabbed made her stomach twist, but she couldn't quite grasp the memory. "I... I think so," she replied slowly, her voice sounding distant even to her own ears. "It feels... like a dream, blurry. I remember pain. A lot of it." She winced, trying to push past the confusion. "But... falling? No, I don't remember that. Was I... did I hurt myself more?" She squeezed his hand lightly, as if grounding herself in his touch, hoping for some clarity that her mind just couldn't provide. Finn squeezed her hand back. "No, you're okay, just a minor concussion," he reassured her. "You'll be fine soon enough, you just need some rest." "It's normal for that to happen with trauma. Your memory of getting stabbed will slowly come back over the next few days or so. You should be able to even remember your thoughts when the stabbing occurred." "Everythings gonna be fine. You just need to heal and get some rest. Okay?" |

"A minor concussion..." she repeated quietly, her voice sounding distant, even to her own ears. She tried to recall what had happened, the pain, the chaos—everything felt like it was slipping through her fingers, like trying to hold water. Stabbed. The word echoed in her mind, but the details were blurry, a haze she couldn't quite clear. “I… I don’t remember…” she whispered, her throat dry. Her gaze flickered up to meet his, seeking reassurance in his calm eyes. "I don't remember... everything. Is it really going to be okay?" She wanted to believe him, wanted to trust that things would get better, but it all felt so unreal. How could she have almost died, and now be here, so disoriented, struggling to piece it all together? Still, she squeezed his hand back, the only thing that felt certain in this sea of confusion. “Okay…” she muttered softly, trying to believe him. Trying to hold on to the comfort he offered, even as her mind fought to remember. |

If you need anything, just yell at one of those nurses and they'll go and get me." he smiled at her. "Can you get some rest for me? Things will seem clearer after you get some sleep, I promise." |

Finn squeezed her hand again before letting go and standing up. "Goodnight, Sera," he said softly, giving her a soft look. Then with one last look, which was just a little too long to be just friendly, he turned and walked out of the infirmary tent. He passed the night nurses and told them if Sera needed anything they'd come and wake him up. Finn walked down to his tent. Micheal was already asleep as Finn got ready for bed, his mind stuck on her. Finn curled up on his cot, with one flimsy piece of cloth as a lousy excuse for a blanket. Yes, he was a bit cold that night, but anything to keep Sera warm. |

Finn woke groggily the next morning from the wake-up bell. He dragged himself out of bed and pulled on a new set of clothes. "Hey, were you with Sera all night?" Micheal asked, nosy as ever. "Most of it." Finn yawned. "Nice," Micheal smirked. "Shut up, its not like that, you dirty-minded bastard." Finn scowled. Micheal just chuckled. The two boys made their way down to the mess tent for breakfast. They both loaded their plates then made their way over to Zoya. The trio stayed quiet again today, but it wasn't an awkward silence like yesterday, more of a peaceful silence. Once announcements were over and Finn finished his meal, he cleared his dishes before going off to the infirmary tent. Finn didn't even bother doing anything, instead he went straight over to Sera. "Hey, how are you feeling?" he asked softly, approaching her. |
