Cougar

Cougar whinnied in delight, charging after her. He bucked as he started to run, happy to be out stretching his legs. He kept pace with her, but wasn't able to overtake her. He ran close to her streaming tail, legs flying as he fought to keep up. He felt really happy. He tried to push his stride as the beach grew closer, but exhaustion started rippling through his body, and he could only maintain his pace, not go faster.

Marble galloped down to the beach, managing to stay ahead of Cougar. As they both started to run out of energy, Marble slowed down a bit to gallop beside Cougar. She smiled over at him as they pulled out of the woods and the dirt became sand and they arrived at the beach.
