Soon the trailer rumbled onto a dirt road before slowing and turning right.Flame saw the kind man hop out of his truck and open the trailer where Flame darted out.This felt like,freedom.But it was'nt freedom.

Amber followed close behind flame as soon as she got out she came to a sliding stop and looked around snorting he head held low

"We'll be fine." Flame could hardly beleive this.He picked up a lope and ran over a hill before stopping on a small peak and eyeing the sunset.Flame aimed his eyes downward a bit and saw a striking colored mare.His ears immediatly perked up as he walked towards her. "Hello,who are you?Im Flame,was brought from a round-up." The mare stopped grazing. "Why,im Everest.I was also bought from a round-up." A horse whinnied in the distance. "That's my stallion.Nice meeting you,Flame." The mare trotted off to her mate as Flame watched.

Amber got jealous standing next to him as he talked to the other mare and she had her ears pinned back then heard that she had a mate then perked her ears forward with a sigh

"She seems nice.We should probaly locate our water source." Flame picked up a walk and started looking for water sorces.He also heard metal clanging in the distance and the mans voice again.Flame was curious wh the man was but all he knew was he was nice.

"yeah " she followed him

"Amber,I feel like we should," There was a long pause. "Trust the man.He seems,kind.I think I might go up there and just let him stand close to the fence without me running." Flame admitted.

"i dont know if we should but ill be with you"

Flame nodded before walking close to the fenceline the the man could admire him and study him.The stallion snorted and glared at the man,studying every intricate detail about him.

the mare walked with the stallion
