Audrey looked up, her eyes meeting his. She wasn't going to go down without a fight. She glared at him. "Fine, this isn't over though" She swore. She shot a strong blast of magic at him and rolled out. She got back to her feet and ran off back into the forest.

Al groaned as he flew backwards, the magic burning against his scales. Al pulled himself back into the ocean, blood streaming from his body. Al swam quickly towards his fathers palace, he didn't want the others seeing him like this, but he wasn't going to report this to his father. His fathers eyes would always be on his and gills cove, that was the last thing he wanted, so the first place he went was the healers.

Audrey continued to run back towards the castle. She whistled out, knowing that Arwen was hiding. The mare knew not to go back to the castle and stable unless told to or during emergency. She climbed on, with a bit of difficulty due to her injury.

Al entered in a side 'window' the bubbles tinted red in his wake, his long tail skittering the red bubbles within a 10 metre radius. Al travelled down a extravagant hall, shells and curved luminous rock decorating the walls, letting a small glow shimmer in the hall. Al turned right and swam into the medical centre, a nurse looked up at him and made a disappointed expression. "Your back" is all she said, getting to work on his wounds. Al scratched at his gills, "yeah" he replied. Al couldn't help but think about the Elf he saw, he hoped he wouldn't run into the same one again, it was a nasty battle and he didn't look forward to hurting more.

Audrey arrived back at the castle's stables, giving Arwen a pat before handing her off the the stable boy. She thanked the child and made her way back inside. Her mother spotted her and ran over when she saw her foot soaked in blood. "What did you do? Never mind. Let's get you to the nurse and then tell me about it" her mother spoke quickly in a worried tone. Taking her to the medic, her mother burst in. The nurses turned, seeing the Queen and princess. They quickly took Audrey into a room, and took off her bloody boot. They then began to apply a cleaning solution. Placing a gauze around the wound, the nurse asked what happened. "I tripped" Audrey lied. She couldn't have her mother find out she disobeyed her demand to stay away from the shoreline.

Al watched the nurse wrap a thick layer of seaweed around Als mid-section, and taking a look at his gills. The nurse tapped on his shoulder and made a gesture that signified that he could leave. Al raced through the glowing halls and back through the opening he came in, his tail powerfully flicking the colder waters behind him. Al roared in pure joy, the warm waters coating a safe bubble around his skin. The bag was almost full by the time the white sun sat in a dark sky, surrounded by glowing bugs. Al made his way back to the courtyard, spotting many others coming back too. Al moved quickly to float beside Gill and the rest of the rest of his squadron, consisting of Gape, Maln, Parie, and Crest. All sufficient soldiers. The lieutenant slid back and fourth in front of the ten gathered Squadrons, passing them all rock slates to record the amount of trash they gathered, a servant drifted towards Als squadron and taking their net bags to count. The lieutenant glared at them and dismissed them, "you will receive your results Tomorrow" he said, Al turned and pushed Gill and snarled at Crest "come on! Let's get outta here!" He said, Maln laughed and slapped Crests back, hard. Gape and parie followed, pissing themselves laughing.

Her mother didn't buy it and gave her a look that this conversation wasn't over. The nurse then told them they could leave, just come back to get the gauze replaced so the wound wouldn't get infected. Audrey thanked the nurse and she and her mother left. Audrey's mother went in a different direction then she did. Audrey made her way to the market. She needed to buy new boots since her pair was covered in blood now.

Al and the rest of the Squadron made their way back to their dorms, taking off their pieces of heavy armour. Knifes and tridents clattered to the floor. Al yawned and tore a hand through his hair, drifting over to his cot. The others were doing the same

Audrey looked about the market, that certain merman still fresh in her mind. She vowed vengeance. She would get him back, mark her words. He made her look like a fool, running away when she was a fighter. She ran because she knew Arwen's life was at stake. She'd do just about anything for that mare.

Al dreamed of his younger brother that night. He saw the small boy racing around in the warm drifts, then the elf's face flashed in his mind, sending rifts of pure hatred through him.
