Izzy laughed quietly then lead the way as Rover ran ahead of her. The silently thought about what had happened so far. Life in the countryside wasn't supposed to be busy and, well, crazy. But today, Izzy had found an injured person, helped a stranger, been attacked by a creepy man and saved by John. All while Rover was still figuring out if John was a good guy or not. Izzy opened her door. She pointed up the stairs. "First door on the right is a spare room. Bathroom's first door in front of you when you go up the stairs." Izzy still wasn't too sure but it was too late now.

Riptide followed Izzy to the house, looking around again and re-gaining his bearings. He already started memorizing the house, in case of need to leave quickly. "Thanks for all this.. you really don't have to and feel free to kick me out at any time. Also, if you could possibly show me where a med kit is and I can treat myself?" He asked tenatively, still very worried about what might happen. His hair didn't always lookwet, but even after a full night of not being in the water it still shimmered like it had water droplets in it. The one, very distinguishing feature that gave it away however, was the scar of a hoof print on his chest, with slight spine-like gills near it.

Izzy hesitated for a second then nodded. "There should be a med kit in the bathroom on one of the shelves." She smiled at him then went up the stairs. All she could think about was the stranger in her house. But this was the least she could do, right? He had saved her life after all. As she sat on the edge of her bed, the room cold because of the open door, she couldn't help but think about John. Why was his hair still wet? What was he doing out there? Why was he acting so strangely? She sighed, hoping he could answer at least one of those questions. (Sorry, been busy recently. I'll be more active now.)

Riptide looked around again before nodding to Izzy and walking to the bathroom. He grabbed the med kit and proceeded to gently treat the wound he could see. He didn't do the best job, but it was fine. After he was done he cleaned up and glanced around. Should he stay? He finally just decided to take a shortish nap on the couch and leave in the morning.. it would help him to rest. In the morning Ripp opened his eyes, surprised to see where he was. Well.. where was he? OHHHH. His memory rushed back. He pushed himself to his feet with a quiet groan, his shoulder aching.

Izzy wasn't sure when she fell asleep but when she woke up, she was surprised to find Rover licking her cheek. "Ewww, Rover, get off!" She pushed her pup to the side and yawned. Pulling on a pair of bunny slippers she went downstairs. She almost shouted at the sight of someone on her couch until she remembered who it was. Stepping pat him quietly, she went into the kitchen to make breakfast.

Ripp got startled as he heard footsteps on the stairs, his whole body tense and alert. However when he realized it was just Izzy.. he calmed down a little. "I can leave whenever you want. I know I am just a creepy person lounging in your house, and I am thankful for your help but you've done more than enough." He said, preparing himself to leave.

Izzy looked at him for a few moments, staying silent. "Nope." She decided. "You're fine. Do you like toast? I'm making breakfast now." Izzy handed him a glass of orange juice before putting some food for Rover who was already up and alert. John didn't seem so bad at the moment.

Riptide was honestly surprised at her response. He didn't expect her to say that. Half of him just wanted to leave, but the other half was telling him he had to stay. He took the glass of orange juice with a small nod. "Yes, I like toast..." He was cut off at a knock on the door, his head whipping around. Ripp was thoroughly shocked when he saw a male, seemingly the same age as him, a little shorter, which golden blonde hair and the stereotype icy blue eyes. Handsome to most eyes. Not his. He recognized that smug and prideful look. +Whirlpool?+ he thought angrily, his jaw setting as the male started to speak. "Oh I am so glad this house is here. My car broke down and I am no mechanic- would either of you know how to fix it up? Then I'll be on my way." Whirlpool smiled, his photogenic white teeth and smile catching. Ripp refused rolling his eyes. Stupid flipping rattlesnake of a jackal. "I can look at it." He said gruffly, mostly because he wanted to get out. He couldn't hurt his shoulder too much.

Izzy turned around in surprise at Rover's loud bark. A man stood in the doorway, with golden hair and blue eyes. Izzy glanced at John. He seemed upset or even angry at the arrival of this stranger. She wasn't sure why. He was handsome and looked trustworthy. Izzy smiled at him. "I don't know anything about cars but I guess John can take a look for you."

Whirlpool smiled gratefully at Izzy. "Oh I am so thankful for this." He said, glancing at *John* before walking outside with the black haired male. "John? You couldn't think of anything better than that? Yeesh, you really don't want to be around her, do you?" Whirlpool snorted mockingly, his voice quiet enough Izzy couldn't hear. After they were outside Ripp glared at Whirlpool. "You shouldn't be here! Why ARE you even here? And unlike you who probably chose a name that would stand out like a firecracker, I'm trying to be a MOSTLY normal HUMAN BEING." He hissed under his breath, heading up the twisting drive. Once they were around the corner Ripp whirled to look at Whirlpool. "You need to leave. This is my lake and my territory. You don't won't to fight me as a human, too." He snarled.
