He freezes. Looking up. -when do I go to bed...?- he thinks before looking back down. "I- uhm- don't have the best experience with being asleep so I think I just pass out a some point? I don't really know." He says grimacing at the pillow. "Also nah the process isn't bad. It feels like I'm asleep for a few minutes to an hour then I wake up." He adds. He sighs, -my back hurts...- He thinks, stretching his back.

Sage grunted slightly and nodded in understanding. "I usually don't sleep much unless I'm in human form," he admitted. Then he wrinkled his nose slightly. "Really? You get lucky there, then," he mused in response to his comment about dying. "I get to feel everything on the way out. Hades has this thing where we can't die right away...it had to take at least five minutes. Something about hardening us for battle or shit like that," he snorted. Then he grimaced. "And regeneration sucks. We're conscious while we get put back together," he added, shaking his head and shuddering slightly. "It's weird," he admitted.

"Huh that is weird... Okay I can not do this anymore." Adrien says, he sighs and his form becomes unhidden. He stretches his large beautiful wings out before wrapping his tail around a pillow and looking back at Sage. His black, dripping eyes staring at him. He cocks his head to the side i question. "What? Do you have another question or something?" He asks, jokingly. -Oh right. I didn't tell Sage I was a hybrid. Welp to late now.- He thinks, face remeing neutral.

Sage grunted in agreement and then cocked his head at the second half of Adrien's comment, not sure what he meant by that. Though, his eyes widened slightly when he noticed demon parts on him. He'd seen the golden hair and just assumed he was an angel ...which he was obviously part angel but obviously also had some demon there too. He blushed slightly at Adrien's last comment and gave him a rather sheepish grin. "Sorry....I didn't even know hybrids existed. Or that an angel and a demon could have kids," he admitted with a shrug. Though he leaned over to peer at the gradient feathers, unable to hide his curiosity. "They're cool looking," he chirped, almost like a little kid finding a new toy. Then he sat back. "I would change form, but it usually comes with the ancient cloth for clothes...like in old paintings....and I doubt you want to see that much demon," he chuckled slightly. It was exhausting staying in human form, but that may be a bit much.

Adrien was surprised at that. "You didn't know hybrids existed?" He asked, his turn to be curious. He leaned in, closer to Sage's face. Examining it. He really didn't know hybrids existed. He chuckles at Sage's words and nods. "True. Do you want to know anything else about hybrids now you know we exist?" Adrien asks him, with a slight smile on his lips. He was truly amazed it didn't cross his mind that there were species who intercrossed and created a hybrid.

Sage sort of chuckled sheepishly and shook his head. "I'm kept in hell unless I'm killing someone," he pointed out. "We don't see angels unless we're fighting, and there haven't been any records of any hybrids," he pointed out with a shrug. "it is neat though," he mused. "The gradient is cool. All we get is black or dark brown. Or blood red, which just looks rediculous if you ask me," he hummed. Then he chuckled. "I'll probably come up with some...but for now I'm going to sleep," he mused, getting up from the couch with a grunt. "If you have a spare shirt that would be great, so I don't mess up your spare bed," he chuckled.

Adrien chuckles and sits back. "Yeah, you can borrow the one in my room." He tells Sage. Sage nods and goes to grab it.

1:00am and Adrien is still awake. He's sitting on the couch in the complete dark, although it's not dark for him since he has night vision, examining his scars. He hates them. He wants to kill the people who did this to him. He looks up at the ceiling, -Sage doesn't know what hybrids go through...- He thinks to himself. Pulling his knees to his chest and wrapping his wings and tail around himself. He does this when he's scared or overwhelmed. At the moment, it was both. He curled into himself, burying his head protectively into his knees. Covered by his wings and tail. -Your safe. Your safe.- is all that ran through Adriensind as he sat there in the dark.

Sage nodded and snagged one of Adrien's tshirts before moving into the bedroom to wash himself up. There was a small shower in there, so he took the liberty of washing himself...he figured Adrien would rather him not get his house all dirty. Once out of the shower, he moved to dry off, shaking his wings dry since he'd let his human form go while he washed so everything got cleaned. He put the shirt on then, chuckling when it went down almost to his knees. It was certainly as large as he'd expected. It was surprisingly comfortable though, and, to his slight surprise, he found that he rather liked the scent lingering on the fabric. He went to bed soon enough though....but after a few hours he woke with a yelp from a nightmare and couldn't fall back asleep, so he lay around for a while before sighing and crawling out of bed and creeping out of the room. He stopped bothering to be quiet when he noticed Adrien still on the couch, obviously awake. "You alright," he asked quietly, moving to curl up on the couch next to the other boy, wrapping his wings around himself.

Adrien doesn't respond. He doesn't even notice when Sage sits down next to him. He's to caught up in his horrible memories to react. This happened sometimes. He got... stuck, In his memories. All he could do was sit them through. He sucks in a sharp breath rewatching the memory of getting his burn... He couldn't stop the tears from streaming down his face. Good thing it was buried in his knees, with wings and his tail wrapped around him protectivly.

Sage frowned slightly when the guy didn't seem to respond and sighed after a moment. He understood what was happening...he'd learned to just shove all his emotions down, which meant this didn't happen so often...but he wound up with a habit of scratching his skin raw, so he wasn't sure it was much better. Either way, he moved to sort of reach over and stick his hands in between the wings, cupping Adrien's face firmly in his hands. "Relax, dude," he told him. "You're at home. remember? I wasn't there during whatever you're thinking of," he pointed out, sort of just talking for a minute until Adrien responded and seemed to get out of his flashback moment sort of thing. He wasn't really sure what to call them. Once he realized Adrien had come out, he sort of sat back and nodded. "We're gonna have to figure out a way for you to deal with that," he mused after a moment, not really sure what else to say. What if he'd just angered the guy? He could take him down pretty easily. Or what if he kicked him out? He'd be killed rather quickly. But mostly, he found himself just not wanting to make the guy dislike him, for some strange reason.
