"Mmm, you say that now, tough guy. Wait until I find that poker." She poked him again and walked back to Dutch. "Come on buddy." She ruffled his fur as she walked past and slipped back inside to explore the little home.

"Not if I hide it." He teased, following her in, he shut the door behind him. He flipped on the dim solar-powered lights. He pushed his hair up and turned to watch her for a moment. "You tired?" He grabbed blankets out of a shelf and put it by the bed for her.
"Exhausted." She yawned, smiling at him. "Where am I sleeping, captain?" She crouched down to give Dutch some more love while she waited for an answer.
"There." He pointed at the bed. "There are more blankets if you get cold." He grabbed some water and sat down.
"...where are you sleeping? I don't see a couch or anything-?" She tilted her head at him, genuinely confused.
"Not everyone needs to lay on someone to sleep, I can sleep just about anywhere." He said with a smile, taking an extra blanket from the pile within reach tossed it on the blanket and promptly rolled onto it.

"What? No! This is your house, I don't wanna take your bed- No, this is stupid go- go get your ass in the bed." She put her hands on her hips, mom style, and glared at him.
"I'm already on the ground, get in the bed, you have a head injury and I am very hospitable." He shut his eyes and put a hand behind his head. His ankles crossed.
"Did I stutter? Get. Your. Ass. In. The. Bed." She stood over him and tapped her foot. "One... Two..."
"No thanks." He opened his eyes and looked at her with a small smile. Unintimidated.
