"They said I would be home by christmas. They had it planned not to send me home for two years. Then I get home and my mom's dying beacuse the doctors aren't taking care of her like they should've." Azai was breathing hard his eyes glittered dangerously.

Quinn closed her eyes a moment, her headache flaring up again. She definetely wasn't going to say anything... however much Quinn rather wished she was dead, she also had a mother at home. Her father had died a year ago, and now her mother had terrible depression. Her mother didn't even want to live anymore. She was taken to a mental health hospital. Everything Azai said brought up terrible memories in Quinn's mind, some newer then others. Her dad dying, her mom sobbing... Quinn's breath got a little labored as she fought the emotions, mostly just trying to focus on not making Azai mad... again.

Azai was breathing hard "Now do you see wht's going on? Now do you understand? I can't let them get away with that. I just CAN'T!" Azai looked at Quinn he wanted her to understand wanted her to like him. He wanted her to see the reason behind what he was doing he wanted her to see the truth.

Quinn flinched away again as his voice raised. "I- I understand, I really do.." Was all she could muster up to say. However much her brain was screaming at her to focus on the moment, to not get killed because she was 'ignoring' Azai, her heart just kept bringing up memories and memories. She couldn't help but feel terrible for the man. -The man that KIDNAPPED you- Her brain hollered, making Quinn wince.

Azai ran a hand through his hair "my life has been filled with lies. I don't know if I can trust what you say. you have no idea how many people have told me that." His hand went to his tie and lossened it slightly. "i'm gonna go change real quick then I'll be back. Don't move"

-Muah haha I'm not dead, either he didn't get as mad as it looked like he did or I am absolutely awesome and calming people down- Quinn thought wryly, knowing it was completely Azai's choice. "It's not really like I have a choice..." She mumbled, making sure to keep a sarcastic tone out of it. After Azai left Quinn sagged against the wall, blowing out a breath of air.

Azai came back wearing a black t-shirt and sweatpants. " I need you to trust me though. I need you to trust that what I'm doing is best for everyone. My dad died in a car crash shortly after my mom died. I've lost everything."

-Best for everyone? It ain't best for the dead guys, and currently I'm sitting up against a cold wall with my hands and feet tied together. Best for everyone may not be the right phrase he is looking for- Quinn thought rather grumpily, her emerald eyes flashing with anger a moment before she cooled herself back down. "Well if you don't believe me when I say that I understand, how can I believe you?" Quinn said quietly, deciding to take the second most dangerous route. She could have openly ridiculed Azai, getting herself killed, or she could have been all soft. She decided to take the middle track

Azai's head whipped around his icy blue eyes locked on Quinn "what did you just say to me?" His voic was dangerously low and his eyes wer glittering dangerously again. If sh says that to me again I will not be happy and I might just take off her head. Azai thought angirly

-Oi, he's sensitive. That wasn't even meant to be rude- Quinn thought with a glance at Azai, who looked ready to kill her. "I said that I understand. I really do." Quinn said with a flat voice, putting a little more emotion into it to make it sound genuine. She did understand, she was just annoyed that he expected her to be perfectly fine with him doing all these things... and then getting mad at her whenever she said something that wasn't even supposed to be mean
