Quinn let her sadness turn to anger. She liked anger so much more than sadness because she could contain anger easily, and she was used to it. She was NOT used to sadness. Quinn kept scrubbung the walls, her eyes stormy and dark. She finished in one room and moved to the next, a slight growl coming out from her own mouth. Sometimes Quinn acted a lot like a... well, an animal.. just not a particular one. More like a fox or coyote than anything. She wasn't very friendly and didn't like a bunch of people, so she didn't really act like a wolf. Quinn kept thinking about that as she scrubbed harder, her black jacket getting slipped off when Quinn got too hot.

Tyra sighed as she walked to Quinn's house, looking around her, wondering what Rain and the boys were up to. She grimaced at the realization that they'd probably ran off again, seen as the backyard was fenced in and no one had came back for the in a while.
She turned the doorknob, realizing quickly that Quinn had actually locked her door this time and grumbling as she had to knock. ( Please don't make Quinn become a hybrid, or seem like she is one besides growling and stuff, but please keep in mind she's supposed to be completely human. I'd prefer if she stays the way the plot has her! Sorry, Im not being rude I promise lol) Edited at May 13, 2023 09:51 PM by Nebula Stables

(Oh no, I would never make Quinn a hybrid without discussing it with you. :)) - Quinn heard some footsteps, then someone tried to turn the door handle... then she heard a knock as the person realized it was locked. Quinn wondered who it could be... she stood and glanced down at her clothing. Completely covered in dust she had been viciously scraping off. Eh, who cared. Quinn walked over to the door, unlocked it, and opened it. - "Oh, uh, Tyra.. hi." Quinn said, seeming confused and surprised. Wasn't Tyra angry at her? Did she come here to tell her something? Did... no. That wouldn't happen. Quinn stepped aside and opened the door, beckoning Tyra in.

Tyra looked around, pouting at how clean it was." I wanted to help...but I guess I'm too late." She remarked as she looked around, nodding her head almost approvingly before stepping inside. "Anyways, Rain told me you were crying yesterday and I can't have that. I was maybe too over the top, lost my cool, yadda yadda. The point is," The girl started as she looked down at Quinn's shirt, disgusted at the dust but quickly hugging her regardless." I'm sorry. I lied when I said I'd just go hang out with people who actually like me, because really the only friends that I actually like are both you and Rain, which is why I was kinda trying so hard for you two to hit it off. Sorry about that too, I didn't-" She paused to think for a moment before grinning."I actually did mean to meddle, I wanted to meddle very badly, but I forgot your personality, which has nothing wrong with it by the way, and Rain is just...different. He's special to me for a reason I can't explain, and he's like a brother to me. He's had it hard these couple of years, ever since he had to leave his...his parents. And he's so nice, to the point where I had to teach him how to be mean. He'd get robbed one day and say thank you because he doesn't know any better, that's how nice he is. And I hate it. And I hate the fact your always mean to people you barely know, because sure he called you a troll, but he genuinely wanted to meet you because I said you were my best friend." She sighed, letting the girl go." Im still sorry though. If you don't want to talk to him again then you don't have to." Edited at May 14, 2023 10:11 AM by Nebula Stables

Quinn nodded slightly, tipping her head and listening as Tyra started talking. When she finished Quinn looked surprised, pleased, and a tiny bit confused... but she gathered it all up quickly. "Really Tyra.. I'm really happy that your my friend, and it's fine that you like to 'meddle'. I am really standoffish and cruel sometimes... and I'm sorry for that. I really don't mean to be, but ever since my dad came home from the war I've started thinking everyone's against me and it's a cruel world. Having you and Rain... I'm starting to realize it's not. I will try to change for the better, and thank you for putting up with me." Quinn said quietly, a small smile on her face. "Also, I can talk to Rain again and I will give him a chance, since it seems like I need to be less mean and he needs to be less nice." Quinn chuckled, glad that Tyra didn't entirely hate her. "Thanks for the apology, though." Quinn finally said, not adding what she wnated to. -I know how hard it is for you- Quinn thought in her mind, trying not to smirk. It was hard for her, too... so she didn't hold anything against Tyra. That was probably the one good thing about Quinn. She never held a grudge.

Tyra smiled sheepishly." You should probably thank Rain for that apology," she turned away, her face flushing." I think my plan originally was to not talk to you at all, but then he-well you already know, but yeah." She shrugged, then smirked. "He also told me that he ran into you in the woods and you had a bleeding hand! What did you punch this time?!" Edited at May 15, 2023 05:16 PM by Nebula Stables

Quinn sighed slightly, a small smile coming upon her face. She definetely would thank Rain... but at this point, she couldn't care less how the apology came. She was just thankful it did. Quinn raised her eyebrows at Tyra, huffing slightly. "A tree." She finally answered. Not like the tree could get hurt.

Tyra blinked, her jaws dropping slightly as she glanced between Tyra and her hand." I-a tree?!" She screeched, dramatically falling on to the floor." My own hand is throbbing thinking about how many bones I would've fractured doing that!" Probably because while cats were flexible they weren't exactly the most well built for strength most of the time...besides jumping from buildings and landing on their feet from trees...and maybe climbing down a chimney. " Wait, that was probably what he wanted to show me earlier. But I completely ignored him." Tyra groaned, rolling over." I'm crying myself a river and naming it De Nial."

Quinn blew out a breath, crossing her arms and arching a brow at Tyra. "A tree." She repeated, a small smile coming to her face. "How would you have fractured bones? You probably can't punch hard enough to do that," Quinn teased, then immedietely regretted it. What if Tyra got mad again? "I take that back, nevermind." Quinn said quietly. Quinn watched Tyra, looking amused. "Calm down, my hand is perfectly fine." Quinn sighed

"I can't punch at all! That's the issue." Tyra whined, ignoring how Quinn backtracked." It's no fair. You had an army dad, and Rain is a total gym rat. He even owns a gym!" She flailed her arms, going off on a tangent about how unfair the world was to make her so petite and un-strong." And don't tell me your hand is fine! You could've hurt it. Rain can sm-s...uh" She paused." What other words start with s? Anyways, doesn't matter anymore." Edited at May 15, 2023 06:50 PM by Nebula Stables
