"What the fluff?" she gently asked. "Ok Roman let's do this..."

"Ok my Princess." Roman kindly responded back. Silently they followed her to the back of the herd.

"What do you want?" the two said in union.

She looked over at Menace, he was distracted by another problem, she looked back at the two "Ok so I'm guessing you two want to be together?? Well i think i know how you can.. And how to get all of us out of this shitty herd.. It'll take time to pull off though" Mystery took 1 step closer to the pair so that only they could hear her "I don't want to... But it's for the good of everybody.. I'm going to.. Try and get close to Menace, act like I'm interested in him, pretend i love him and want to be HIS mare.. If that part works then i can hopefully either persuade him to let you guys be together or soon when he trust's me alone take you guys and other mares out of his herd" She explained the plan to Princess and Roman. Then a chill went down her spine "I only hope he doesn't want to.. Mate with me or have foals... I have to act like I'm in love with him so if i said no to foals then he'd know I'm lying... Hopefully he doesn't think of that" Mystery said, she wasn't sure how 'full-proof' her plan was, there were many holes that she needed to avoid "So... What do you think?"

"That was a lot." Princess stated.

"I like how risky it is!" Roman decided.

She nodded in agreement with Princess "I know..." Then glared at Roman "Oooff coarse you do.." then she scanned the herd to see how many members there are before deciding, she turned her attention back to the two and hesitantly spoke "Okqy... I guess i should go talk to him.." Mystery took a deep breath and started to make her way through the herd upto Menace *coughs to get his attention* Hey Menace, can i graze with you?" She asked tilting her head slightly

"Fine. Mare." Menace grouched at her.

The two horses seemed a lot more hopeful with a plan in play.

Mystery nodded and grazed near him but not too closely.

She waited for a while so she didn't seem... desperate, about half a hour later she raised her head slightly "Hey Sir? Thanks for letting me go to the river early, my ear is felling much better, i bet you don't do that often?" She said before nibbling more grass and waiting

"Oh. You think that is a favour, do you? No. That was just because you have good conformation, and we will need better colts than this dump of colts." he snarked, "that was just to keep you alive."

Mystery's ears flattened slighty -i need to try harder- she thought to herself "Well.. No stallion in ANY old herd i was in would ever give me any sort of freedom so while you say it wasn't a favour, i still think you did a huge one for me.. I mean, as expected from a great leader" She looked back at the herd then at him "Menace.. When i was gone, i wasn't trying to leave.. I was just going for a run, i was on my way back, you saw me coming back"

"I don't care for your pathetic excuses." he snapped.
