An arrow suddenly flew by Regan's head, hitting a tree behind her. Another flew, hitting the ground in front of her. Then a giant net fell over her with heavy stones that weighted it down enough that in her condition, she wouldn't be able to lift them. An old man, maybe about 50-60 emerged from the trees, glaring at the girl. He looked around, then asked in a gruff voice, "Where's Tyler? What did you do to him?" He walked over to her, looking down through the net. He was a giant of a man, taller than Tyler and probably a lot heavier, too. His black beard was trimmed short, but his black hair ran wild, sticking up in all directions. He had tanned, muscled skin. He held up a long spear, waiting for her answer

Regan rested peacefully for a short while... trying to get herself comfortable. The pain in her side wasn't easing up again, so she was really just trying to keep herself quiet. Millie ran around happily, much like the way a puppy would... well, she was probably only about a year and a bit old, so she could certainly get away with acting like a puppy. Regan let her... if there was danger, she'd come right back. Though, the girl wasn't exactly sure why she'd ignored the dogs barking... because soon enough she saw an arrow spin past her, and before she could move, net had fallen over her, blocking her from any kind of escape. She yelped, realising she was stuck close to the ground... all she could hear for those few seconds was her companions loud barks as she tried to grab ahold of the man's leg. She heard him speaking, and she couldn't understand what he was saying. "Tyler?" She asked with a wrinkled lip, trying to reach for something... anything to get out of this net.

Tyler suddenly darted out of the woods, stopping dead in his tracks when he saw Regan under a net and his... dad standing over her with a spear. "Aaron, don't!" Tyler yelped as the older man started to lower it towards the girl. He got startled, turning quickly and making sure the spear didn't touch anything. "Tyler?" He grunted, then ran towards the big and threw his arms around him in a hug. "I'm so glad you're okay! Who is this girl? Her dog I saw going to tear me apart!" Aaron growled, looking at Millie. Tyler glanced at the net. "Aaron, get her out of that!" He snarled ripping the net off. He looked more angry than happy. Raptor growled, not sure at who but he felt the tension in the air. "This is Regan, and one of my traps accidentally hurt her so I'm helping her for the time being. And you probably just hurt her more! Now I'll never be able to be on my own again!" Tyler yelled, words coming out without meaning. He realized what he said and his gaze dropped. "I'm sorry I have a lot of built up tension, and nothing I said is or was true. Aaron, don't kill the girl. Regan, don't kill my dad." He muttered, running off into the woods. Emotions overflowed him and he felt anger, helplessness, and a couple others including agony

The girl started thrashing about when she saw the man lower his spear to her, trying desperately to get out... well, that was until she heard the other voice and she just kind of froze the way a deer might. Though, when she realised she wasn't in any kind of danger, she relaxed a little bit. She didn't say anything, just glared at the larger man, staring daggers into him. She could feel blood dribbling down her side, where the bandages as slipped down, and anything that had begun to heal was back to the beginning again, that was for sure. Though, you wouldn't have been able to tell just by looking at her that she was in any kind of pain. She called the dog over, who started to lick her face when the net was thrown off her, though she didn't make any kind of movement from her spot on the ground. She didn't care about anything he said... he could hate her being there as much as she wanted, at the end of the day it was Aar... Tyler's? Choice to let her stay. When he ran off, though she grabbed it and pointed it at the older man. "Come near me and I swear to god I'll kill you," she growled... she couldn't have run if she tried, so she was probably better off staying put.

Aaron (Tyler's dad) Snarled, "If my son doesn't want me to hurt you I won't hurt you!" And grumpily stomped off to lean on a tree and wait for Tyler to get back. (Back to Tyler's PoV) Tyler realized that his father might have hurt Regan, or vice Versa so he ran back, bursting into the clearing. He saw Aaron grumpily leaning against a tree and Reagan pointing a knife at him. "Let me fix that for you." He muttered, going in to replace her bandage yet again while glaring at his father. Aaron glared right back. Once Tyler was done, he walked up to him. "Aaron, two people is plenty enough for one campsite. You have survived on your own this long, you can survive on your own still. I'll find you when Regan decides to leave." He said stiffly, jerking his chin out of the camp. Aaron muttered something under his breath, but dipped his head and disappeared silently into the foliage. "I'm very sorry." Tyler apologized quietly, walking and setting the trap back up that Aaron took down to get in safely.

Regan watched the two interact, her lip curled at the older man, already displeased with... well, his existence. She lifted her shirt so that he could get to the wound, her rib cage very clearly showing. She'd lose weight quite quickly like this... because she was anxious and in pain, that normally didn't help her situations. She certainly didn't expect the boy to lick his own father out of the camp... for her no less. She'd been less that stellar to him, he had every right to ask her to get out. She couldn't wrap her head around why he hadn't yet. She watched him walk if before looking at the boy oddly. "Did you really just ask your family to leave?" She couldn't imagine that... if she could get her family back for just one day she'd give anything. She then hardened her gaze at him. "And you lied to be about your name?" She growled bitterly.

"You don't know my father." Tyler snorted. "He will be back. Probably tomorrow. Or the next day. He doesn't take directions very easily." Tyler's gaze turned sad. "Well, with how you were acting I was 99 percent sure you were going to try to kill me, so I didn't bother telling you my real name." He murmured. Raptor whined, looking back and forth in between the two. Then he darted away, leaving the campsite. Tyler sighed. "No more mental support." He half heartedly joked, hunching his shoulders and walking over to a tree again and sitting down, his head between his knees. If anything he looked sick... maybe even sad but mostly sick.

The girl furrowed her brows at him before shaking her head. "Yeah, if he's alive," she retorted bitterly. She still couldn't wrap her head around why he'd do that...it seemed silly to send your father off for some stranger that was being horrible. She then wrinkled her nose, "You told me the first time I asked, though, yes?" she asked with a small smirk. "You thought than me, in this state, could try and kill you? Please, I can barely walk right now," she mused before chuckling lightly. "I mean, thanks for having faith in me but still," the girl told him with a slight hum. She felt her smile drop when he walked off to drop next to a tree. She frowned a little bit and cocked her head, while Millie ran up to the boy and nuzzled between his head and legs to bop him on the nose. The puppy seemed to rather like him, despite Regan's bitterness towards him. "You all good?" the girl asked with a pout.

Tyler ground his teeth at her first remark. He was angry she even suggested that. "I'm fine." He spat. He had tried to be nice, he gave her shelter, he hunted for her and dressed her wound all because he felt bad for ACCIDENTALLY hurting her, and this was how she repaid him!? He stood, turning in his heel and climbing the tree to sit in the lookout nest. Raptor, being the amazing dog he was, climbed up the slanted tree to sit next to Tyler. His ears pinned and he whined, not liking to see his master unhappy

The girl rolled her eyes at him, She was just messing about, but it was fairly that this wasn't really the kind of place to be messing around like that. Not about his dad, at least. She'd have to try and make a bit more of an effort to be, well, friendly. It was hard because she wasn't amazing at trusting people, but he'd been perfectly fine with her. Millie, being the puppy she was, was trying to get the larger dog to play with her, though he just didn't seem to be overly interested.
