She swatted her tail to rid herself of an annoying fly before she pointed her gaze to the sky. She noticed a flock of birds were flying. She smiled as a breeze went by.

Lion sighed and went back to eating grass, occasionally looking at the mare. Once he had his fill he tried trotting in a circle. This felt ok, so he tried cantering. A horrible pain suddenly shot through his wounds, making him stumble and then crash, grunting. He muttered something. Launching himself back to his feet and whirling his head around to see what was wrong. He had torn half his wounds back open in his fall, and suddenly regretted not listening to the mare. He tried to think of something to say that would ... lower Saints 'I told you so's'. All he could come up with was a lame, "Oops..."

Saint turned around and looked at Lion, the question 'really?' was clear on her face. She shook her head with a small snort and trotted over to him. She inspected the wounds and removed the old plant bandages. "Go wash off in the water," She instructed.

"You are extremely bossy." He muttered lowly, but only did what she said because he knew he deserved it'll. What he did was obviously stupid, so he went and splashed water on his wounds. "There. Perfectly fine, and yes, I won't canter for a while." He said, a slightly annoyed expression plain on his face, yet it was also mixed with the realization what he did ... wasn't the smartest

She rolled her eyes and reapplied bandages to the wounds. She made sure nothing was bleeding through before she walked away, bending down and eating grass.

Lion flicked his ears guiltily and walked over, eating some grass before going to lie down. Saint looked... weird. Extremely unhappy? She was just too quiet so Lion listened to her advice and calappsed on the ground, laying his head down and promptly falling asleep

Saint felt grateful he actually listened this time, she didn't know what she would have said if he tore open his wounds again. She looked around for a moment and smelt the air, double checking everything was okay before she walked over to Lion and stood nearby. She propped one of her legs and went to sleep.

Lion woke a few hours later, scrambling to his feet. He decided to be extra careful to NOT rip open his wounds. Lion walked over to the water, took a drink, then washed his back to help his gashes heal faster

Saint didn't wake up. Her head dropped low as she slept. Her pelt occasionally twitched or her body swayed slightly, but other than that, she did not move.

The stallion shook himself, then swatted a fly with his tail. He was... bored. Lion had never been bored in his life, but now he was experiencing the new emotion. He frowned, grumbling something before going to stand under a shady oak, dropping his head low but nit falling asleep
