Chantal sat beside her and leaned over to whisper to her before the hosts came in. "Don't act so happy to be here," he said sarcastically, "you should atleast talk to them instead of nodding. That's what I'm supposed to do not you."

Lena rolled her eyes, "I'm sooo happy to be here' she answered jokingly. She sighed, "Fine but just this once ill be nice" she turned to the hosts as they came in with the best smile she could muster, "Fine day yes?" She tried not to roll her eyes.

The Lady nodded "Yes it is quite nice. Now onto business." A few butlers and maids came in and served them tea and crumpets while they talked.

Chantal bowed to the Lord and Lady before climbing into the carriage with the princess. "See, that wasn't that bad," he said as the carriage started to go back to the castle.

She climbed in and rolled her eyes once again, "Worst day of my life" she sat down and took out her book to start reading again.

He chuckled lightly, "Trust me I've seen worse." He looked out the window as they traveled back to the palace and wondered what they would be doing tomorrow or the next day or the day after that.

"That's good" she sat back and uncrossed her legs before sitting back up and looking out the window.

He glanced over at the princess and noticed her hair looking more red than brown, which he found interesting. Now that I'm thinking about it she is kind of cute, he thought but then stopped himself, you've only known her for a day, plus you could never date her.

She looked at him and noticed him looking at her, "I know my fathers giving you a paycheck but I promise I don't have it with me" she teased.
