Sage sort of wrapped his arms around Remy and humemd in thought. "I dunno," he admitted. "At first, maybe, but you seem pretty much just like a human. You just have some cool superpowers or something," he chuckled.

Remy smiled and chuckled, nuzzling into his chest happily.

Sage just wrapped his arms around him. "I have to think it would be weirder for you to date a human. Live on land, figure it all out," he noted with amusement. "And we don't exactly have special powers or whatever like you do. We're kinda boring."

"Hey, I like humans, they accept me for who I am," he smiled softly.

Sage snorted. "Except for me, they just want you to be who you are so they can make money off of you," he noted. Then he pecked remys cheek. "Fortunately for you, I couldn't resist all your charm," he teased

Remy sighed, smiled fading, remembering he was living in a world that he couldn't truly be his true form. "Yeah..." he hummed, curling close to him. He'd heard stories of merpeople in containment. People doing experiments on them and showing them at amusement parks.

|
Sage just nestled in with a sigh, shaking his head. "Well, I do know how to kill the mood, don't I," he noted, wrinkling his nose. "Don't worry ....no one knows about you and we're secluded out here. We'll be ok."

|
Remy nodded, just curling close.

Sage was content to cuddle there, but once the water started getting cold he washed off quickly and then moved to get out and dried him and Remy off. He tossed on his clothes before tossing Remy some of his to put on once he changed back

Remys hair wasn't fully dry, so he would be in his mer form for a while. He sat on the bathroom floor, propped up against the wall. "Do you love me?" He asked quietly.
