Camery tried to hold onto him as he pulled away, though he soon got out of her grip. He looked so distraught. The people watching probably didn't help. Her chest ached as she watchin him run away, and took a few steps towards the direction he'd gone in before just going still. Her heart thumped in her chest, her mouth hanging open as she tried to say something but just couldn't. Fuck. The silence was filling her ears, taunting her. The small snickers from the few people around her didn't help the matter either.

Camery stood there almost frozen as she felt eyes on her. Why did he do that? Always run away from her. She didn't know what to do with herself. She felt sick. As people started to talk, their words filling her ears. She felt her knees start to buckle, and right when she was sure she was going to colapse, Jack found his way through the crowd and wrapped an arm around her waist, quickly ushering her out of the room and back towards her room. She was so quiet. She didn't know what to do with herself. She just sat on the bed, staring out. "I fucked up," she whispered. Jack shook his head, handing her some bread and finding her something other than the dress to put on for bed. "Maybe," he breathed. "But he shouldn't have left you there like that," he then added. The truth of it was that no matter what had happened, running off like that wasn't the answer. Embarassing someone you claimed to love the way he just had wasn't right in any word. Camery shook her head, silently chewing her bread before slipping out of the dress and into the clothes he'd handed her.

Once Camery had dressed herself, she just found herself stairing out the window. She knew Jack was there with her, and he wanted to help but she was so... upset about it all. She couldn't believe he'd actually left her like that. It was embarassing. She sighed after a moment, and got up. He'd looked so upset. She at very least wanted to make sure he was alright. She wandered down the hall, her ears honing in on the voices from the party that was still going on. She knocked on the door quietly. "Malakai, I'm sorry I-" she paused when she tried to walk in, but the door was locked. She knocked a little harder, her face contorting a little. "Malakai?"

Camery jumped a little when the maid came next to her, but she thanked the woman and quickly found her way inside, looking around. The place was so... quiet. She looked around for a moment, though when she spotted the window open, she rushed over, looking over the ledge and suddenly was rather relieved that there was nothing to be seen. She paced for a moment, figuring he'd gone to regulate himself a little. She shut the door and picked his tie and crown up, going to sit on the bed as she waited for him to hopefully come back soon. She stared at his crown, fiddling with it. The careful details across it, the stars and moon and everything that represented the night carefully laced through it.

Camery sat on the bed fiddling with the crown for what seemed like years. Her night wear was falling off her shoulders, and her shorts were wrinkled where she sat crosslegged. She looked up when she saw Malakai, his face red and puffy, his gaze just seeming loathing. She sighed softly, looking down at the crown silently. She didn't know what to say to him... she was sorry, but seathing from the night. He'd embarrassed her more than he could even imagine, but she felt awful for making him feel the way he did. She was just enjoying herself, but evidently she'd taken it too far.
