Zephyr snorted. "Then don't bounce around. Relax and enjoy the view." He answered, gesturing to the green trees, blue sky, and birds around them. His dark blue eyes darted from her to the scenery, and he looked more relaxed than he had in a while.

She tried to walk normal, but she would trip again and again. "This isn't working. Stupid roots. Why can't they just stay in the ground?" She put her hands on her hips and stared at Zephyr. "How come you don't trip?"

Zephyr slowly glanced back at her. "Think of it this way- you're smacking the roots with your feet every step of the way. Stupid roots or stupid feet?" He asked with a teasing smile. "Hate to tell you, but you're a city girl. Okay, a town girl, this ain't a big place. I spent years walking these forests, plus I'm more careful than you, plus I'm aware of where my limbs are. Thats why I don't trip."

She furrowed her eyebrows and CONCENTRATED on where she was watching her feet, but even then she tripped into Zephyr. "Sorry!" She said Edited at April 21, 2024 07:21 PM by Dandelion Farms

Wa spitting her feet xD) - Zephyr caught Sophia in his arms before she could slip past him and catapult all the way down. "Sorry for tripping? You've been doing that the whole time." He played it off easily before turning around slowly. "Okay, so let's head back before you injure yourself." He joked with a small chuckle. "And practice makes perfect, so you should totally take a small hike every day and soon you won't trip at all. It's really calming!"

You KNOW I can't spell!) - Sophia bit her lip when Zephyr saved her from coming face to face with the rocks and dirt on the ground. "I would walk every day but I usually don't have time" she looked to the side then down at her feet as she walked. She stepped then took a high step then down again. "Maybe I won't die on the way back" she said as she continued slowly. She didn't mind his presence- actually she preferred it above others. Sophia didn't mind his touch either. Anytime she would brush his hand or shoulder, she would get tingles and a rush of electricity down her skin, so when his arms were around her her entire body tingled

(It's okay, I'm being a hypocrite cause I can't spell either XD) - Zephyr only played off the fall because his brain had momentarily shut off and he didn't know exactly why. Whenever he touched Sophia, even the slightest bit, it was like someone disconnected the power cord to his brain and it either went black or exploded in weird thoughts. "How do you have time to drink coffee and take hikes and go to playgrounds but not time to go on a 10 minute walk?" He asked teasingly, chuckling a little at her comment before slowing slightly to match her pace, his feet wandering slightly closer to her. They had a mind of their own.

Lol) - "because I had a little bit of time but usually I don't have any. Softball take up way too much of my time. I can't ever do anything I want because of softball" she continued her weird pace, bumping into Zephyr a few times. "Sorry" she would say every time she bumped into him. At one point she grabbed his arm to keep from tripping.

"Okay, makes sense. Softball is a demanding sport, as is Basketball- at times." He answered, tensing just slightly so that when she did bump into him he didn't go reeling off to the side. Zephyr was quite weak and toppl-y unless he didn't want to be. Then he could actually engage the muscles he knew he had and use them to either stand straight or fight someone or throw a basketball. Otherwise he usually was pretty limp and relaxed. As the sidewalks slowly came into view he stepped onto the concrete. "I bet this'll seem easy to walk on now."

"Maybe but I swear they still trip me somehow" she kept her hands on his arm in case she tripped again. "Now if I ran it would be a different story. I never trip when I'm running, but even on the field I trip when I walk. "
