T offered him a smile and took Liz into her lap with a grin, curling her arms around the baby and lightly bouncing her on her leg. She took the food from him and switched Liz to one arm, using the other to get a little bit of mashed carrot and feed it to her. She was smiling the whole time, cooing softly at the little girl.

Sage sort of just watched T take his baby, grinning happily when he noted how well they got along. He had noticed it before, of course, but at this moment he was really just....happy, he supposed....that they got along so well. T was such a motherly figure to the girl, even if she couldn't ever have her own kids. Or...well, it was incredibly unlikely. He suddenly found himself wishing she'd never leave.

T fed the little girl in relatively calm silence, glancing up at him with a smile and then doing a double take. "What are you looking at me like that for?" She grinned, looking back down at Liz to continue feeding the wriggling bundle. She was started to eat a little slower, so she figured it was almost time for Liz to go back to sleep.

Sage had sort of just chuckled in response to her comment, shaking his head slightly. "You're cute together," he huffed. They really were too....of course, he couldn't say the rest of what he was thinking, but he did note the fact that Liz was done eating soon enough, and he moved to scoop her up lightly, pressing a kiss to her head happily, sort of just jiggling her gently to put her to sleep. "are you ready for bed, hun," he hummed, moving to tuck her in when she was out cold.

"Thanks, I guess." T chuckled, offering Sage a smile. She let him take the baby and watched him go with a softer smile, simply observing the two of them for a moment. Her own little adoptive family. She blew out a small, content breath and moved off the mattress and toward her bag, inspecting a new orange carrot stain on her shirt from feeding time. She scraped what she could off and then pulled it over her head, tossing it into her bag as she rooted through for a clean shirt. When she didn't find one, she blew out a small huff. She didn't want to wear a dirty one, but she would if there was no other option. "Sage?" She called softly, glancing over her shoulder at him. "Do you have a shirt I could borrow?" She asked quietly, trying her hardest not to wake Liz.

Sage had made sure Liz was settled in bed, rather confused for a moment when the girl spoke up. He stood with a sort of chuckle, a grin forming on his face when he glanced back at her. "They're in the corner, take your pick," he mused. "Though, I must say I prefer you without one," he added, the look on his face becoming more mischievous. They'd have to do laundry soon....he didn't have many clothes, and if she was using them too, they'd go quicker. He didn't mind though, of course. But...Liz was asleep and he was curious if she'd back her words from earlier up and actually take control tonight.

T nodded lightly and started toward the corner, offering him a playful smile over her shoulder as she bent to sort through them. "Well, if that's the case, get over here and give me a reason not to wear one." She teased, shifting to face him and settling down comfortably. She tilted her head at him teasingly, offering him a smile.

Sage had sort of hummed in response to her comment, sort of wandering over towards her slowly, a grin appearing on his face. "Well, I could think of a couple things I suppose," he mused, scooping her up and tossing her over his shoulder with a chuckle, moving to dump her on the bed and crawl on next to her with a laugh. "Was that good enough for you," he hummed, sort of daring her to make a move.

"You suppose?" T mocked playfully, laughing as he tossed her over his shoulder. She grinned at the fireman's carry, lightly tracing her fingers over his back in the moments before he tossed her into bed. She giggled slightly as she landed, shifting onto her side as he crawled up beside her. "Mmm, I dunno." She teased, curling her arms around him and setting her lips to his neck. "I think I need more convincing." She quipped softly, pressing a light kiss to the spot below his ear and then continuing a trail of kisses slowly down his neck.

Sage had moved to just prop himself up on his arms next to the girl when she rose next to him, grinning over at her, and humming happily when he felt her lips settle on his neck. "More," he whined, cocking his head as her lips moved about. "how much more do you want," he purred, moving to let her push him down onto his back as she continued to kiss him, a light chuckle rising in his throat when he hit the mattress, sort if just waiting to see what shed do.
