"If this is Gale that was taken, I'm going to kill someone and it likely will be one of you!" She yelled, fury taking over her. "Take me to the intruder. NOW!"

The guard walked back in, grabbing his chin and.... studying him. "You're stubborn, y'know?" He asked, Gale chuckling. "No shit, why else would I still be here?" The door burst open with the group of guards leading Kayla, moving out of her way so she could see him. "Is this the Gale you were talking about?" He asked, Gale chuckling. "First off, how do you not even know who I am? Gale Hummendueas? Like, the kingdom wide criminal? Or at least, used to be criminal." He mused, the guards eyes widening.

"untie him now." She ordered, grabbing a long dagger and grabbing the guard who had hurt him by his throat. She pinned him against the wall, dagger's tip resting on the man's artery. "You dared to hurt the one thing in my life that has loved me and kept me alive. Lick him up until I have a rational mind and don't kill him just yet. Ha him as much as you please, though" she said, shoving the gasping man toward the guards. He had a small trickle of blood right beside the blood flow that held his life. She glared at the guards leading the man away and she threw her dagger toward them, it sinking into the woods in front of the man's face. "I mean it" she snapped, the other guards untying Gale. She turned to him with a tired and soft expression. "I'm so sorry"

He just chuckled, rubbing his wrists where the ropes had rubbed the skin raw. "It's fine, always fun to annoy people every so often." Gale laughed, shaking his head lightly.

She nodded and pecked his cheek

He smiled softly, heading back out of the dungeon as his face fell.

"what happened? Tell me exactly what happened before I rip that prick limb from limb and burn him" she requested softly

= 'tear that prick limb from limb and burn him'? She didn't say 'him' she said 'you',= He didn't know what it was about her words, but it triggered something in him. Gale could feel her anger rising, it setting off even more alarm bells in his head. "They just interogated me," The man murmured, avoiding her gaze.

She took a deep breath, running a hand down her face. "Sorry. I'm just tired"
