Morgan helped him up the stairs quietly, letting out a soft breath when Caleb settled down on the bed. She grabbed some of the cream they'd given him for his wounds and and gently lathered it up his arm and chest once she'd pulled his shirt from him, then replaced it with one of her brothers old ones. "Try and sleep. Relax a little," she murmured quietly.

"I can't. What if.....what if she finds you and hurts you or your family. It'd be my fault." He said, his panic rising as the possibilites flashed through his head

Camery shook her head softly, sitting next to him and gently running a hand around his back, careful to avoid any sore spots. "We're safe here. You're safe here too," she promised. "It would almost be good if she did. It would completely veto your charges," she whispered. She gently ran a hand along his arm. "You're gonna need to relax babe. Sleep, heal... we'll look after you, you don't need to worry," she whispered.

Caleb nodded with gritted teeth. He laid down but wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her with him

Morgan squeaked slightly when he pulled her down, and gave a small smile. She rested her hand softly on his cheek, leaning in to press a soft kiss to his lips. He looked so sore... she wanted to take all of his pain away. She wanted to make it all okay for him... but she didn't know how. She was trying her hardest for him, hoping to make him feel a bit safer about it all.

Caleb closed his eyes an curled up around her, moving to spoon her, as he fell asleep

Morgan looked up at him for a moment as he fell asleep, but soon settled down, pressing her back lightly into him as she settled down. She was exhausted... and the next few days we're going to be tough. She drifted off quietly, happy to sleep through the night.

Caleb woke the next morning later than usual, not moving because of the pain. He winced quietly, almost silently, as he readjusted his arm around Morgan

Morgan woke up a little after Caleb, when she felt him starting to shift. She turned over to face him, but when she saw him completely drawn with pain, she quickly hopped out of bed to get him some pain relief that he'd been prescribed at the hospital. She sighed and brought it back to him, offering it to him quietly. "Morning," she whispered softly, her brows pinched together worriedly.

Caleb just groaned in response, his lungs burning too much to speak.
