"YOUR face is- wait that sounds weird. Your face looks great, my drawing not so much." Zephyr face a face before glancing at her slightly worriedly as she just stared at it. Was it really that bad? No. He needed to stop. He glanced at his own coffee as she spoke, which was almost all the way full. "We should go on a short hike. This is near the edge of town and there are some great trails less than a quarter mile from here." He answered, guzzling some steamy coffee.

" I've never been hiking before" she smiled and took the napkin, making sure it didn't get creased. "Can we stop by the cars first? I wanna keep this" she waved his drawing infront of his face then handed him hers. "You keep mine. And don't say no"

"Wha- huh- how- oh my gosh! You poor deprived thing! Are you okay?" Zephyr asked with a gasp, poking her. "How are you still alive?" He snorted before standing. "Yes and yes, I'll keep it. But tomorrow you'll have a better one." He said, exiting the shop and heading towards the cars. He put the drawing of him in his truck, then walked over.

Sophia walked beside him until she reached her car, placing the drawing on the passenger seat and standing up. "Ready?" She asked. "Just know that if the trail is anything like the sidewalk I may be flat on my face a few times. "
| |
"Yes, and the trail is nothing like the sidewalk. Way bumpier with more roots." He chuckled, heading back the way they had come, towards the edge of town.
| |
"Then I'm going to be falling a TON" Sophia joked before speeding up to catch up with Zephyr. "How tall are you?" She asked as she looked up at him.
| |
Zephyr chuckled slightly, angling towards a small wooded trail on the edge of where the trees started. At her question he tilted his head and glanced at her. "Umm... 6'2 the last time I checked." He answered
| |
"Ok so... I'm 9 inches shorter than you. Geez" Sophia shook her head "just my curiosity taking hold" she took a few steps and tripped. She caught herself before she hit the ground. "Marching marching" she said as she stood and lifted her legs higher than normal.
| |
"I might've grown an inch. I dunno. My dad is, like, 6'6 so I probably have at least an inch to go." He barked a laugh, glancing down at her before flinching a little as she almost kissed the earth. Aaaalmost. "Yes, March. Don't fall." He snorted, looking at the scenery as the birds chirped and they got a little deeper into blue forest.

Sophia laughed and started jumping over roots and branches. "Ok this is getting tiring real fast" she said as she stopped a few feet infront if him and looked over her shoulder at Zephyr, her brown hair flipping over her shoulder at the sudden movement.
