"Ahah, that's what you think." Mercy teased, but she was honestly drawing blanks on how to press him further. "I am not mad." She huffed, staying in the same position. "No! I am extremely annoying and I am NOT tiny!" She complained, swatting his hand halfheartedly when he poked her. "No, Ajax, you wouldn't-" She let out a small yelp as Rex came bounding up, gently pushing his head away and toward Ajax's. "No, Rex, give Ajax kisses." She ordered, stubbornly staying where she was and burying her head into Ajax's shoulder to avoid getting a full face wash from Rex.

"I can tell from the way you look and speak you have no idea how to press me further." Ajax teased, a smile playing out on his face. In truth, he was DEEPLY uncomfortable right now and TRULY disturbed, but he had gotten really good at hiding his emotions by putting a shell of steel packed with dynamite around his inside. "Not annoying at all... and not achieving your life goals, I see." Ajax snickered. "I did! Ha!" He laughed, watching Rex thoroughly slobber Mercy. Thankfully the dog remained faithful to him and just licked his hand. "Good dog, very good dog." Ajax praised the big bear looking dog.

"Liar. Sure I do. I'm just... sparing you from my full wrath." Mercy explained, picking her head up off his shoulder to look at Rex. Binx hadn't been far behind and was now standing on the back of the couch, staring at Ajax's head very intently. "I'm very annoying, admit it, or neither of us are moving!" She challenged, glaring up at him.

"Oh man, I look THAT weak that I have to be spared from Astoria's wrath! Me oh my." Ajax gasped, his goal to get Mercy to give him that angry glare she always did. His dark eyes slowly moved sideways, and without moving his head, Ajax glared at the cat. "That is unsettling, call off your ferocious beast and I will mine?" He asked with a snort, not really taking his eyes off of Binx. "Mercy, I've already told you, you aren't annoying at all. This is completely normal for me." Ajax sounded exasperated, but really almost choked on his last words. Mental Note: Do not say anything unless you can say it normally without gagging, choking, or coughing on your horrible words. Ajax thought with a slight eyebrow furrow.

Mercy huffed at him. "You don't need to pull full names into this." She teased. "But you did also look comparable to a piece of swiss cheese not too long ago, so." She huffed, smiling as he found Binx. "Fine. Good boy Binx, but shoo." She said sweetly, gently nudging her cat away. He gave her an insulted look but turned and swished away nonetheless. She chuckled at his words. "You do realize I'm going to stay here until you admit it, right?" She teased, rolling her eyes at the last half of his comment. "Right, because a lot of angels sit in your lap to annoy you. Quite frequently, too."

Ajax actually was just getting hit with how utterly amazing it was he remembered Mercy's actual name. For sure, that would never happen for anyone but her... he didn't even remember Goose and Rooster's actually names and he had even known Rooster before he moved to Texas! "But I don't now." Ajax protested with a huff of annoyance. Since Mercy kept her end of the deal, he waved a hand as a signal for Rex to also stop his bombardering. The big dog sauntered away and collapsed on the floor with a deep groan, being overly dramatic. "You wha-" Ajax stopped, realizing his voice was weak and pleading. "Um, I wouldn't prefer that." He started over meekly. "A lot of them! Im just that handsome none of them can resist." He argued with a sniff, his words totally convincing.

"That's very debateable." Mercy teased, smiling as Rex sauntered away. Binx hopped after him and flopped on top of him again. Mercy raised her eyebrows as he started to speak, smirking again. She chuckled at his next comment, nodding sarcastically. "I'll keep that in mind." She teased, rolling her eyes. "Right. Handsome, sure. Absolutely irrestistable." She mocked. "Name one." She challenged.

Ajax narrowed his eyes a moment, then decided not to retaliate and focus his ammunition on the next cannon. "Yes! Handsome, absolutely irresistible , stunning, charming..." he trailed off as she continued. "I um er erm uh .." Ajax stuttered. He was never one for lying... he joked a lot but he hated to lie. Finally it sparked in his mind that this maybe happened once or twice. "Alright I'll name one." -What was her name- He thought frantically. "Shiloh." Ajax said with dignity, finally remembering it and not lying in the process. Take that.

"Don't hurt yourself." Mercy laughed, watching him stutter with a warm smile. She gave him an extremely skeptical look at his confirmation, then almost flinched at the familiar name. She recoiled slightly with her head cocked, glaring at him. "You're lying. Shiloh, of all angels? I don't know how you got that name, but it is definitely not one to use in that scenario. I'd almost feel bad for you if it were true." She scoffed.

Ajax's slight smile disappeared with a furrowed brow and a questioning look as Mercy recoiled as if having been bitten. -Whoops, what'd i say- he thought. "I- I'm not lying. I would never lie to you. Does that mean you know her, and... from what I'm gathering, don't like her that much?" Ajax asked with a grimace, obviously remembering other things as well. "It is true, and I do feel bad for me. You would abolsutely love to hear the story of my torture, that someone ended with Shiloh sitting in my lap against MY will believe me." he growled sarcastically, looking a lot more... actually grumpy... then just pretending he was with her.
