She looked at him with concern but just nodded and dropped the subject. She stood up and brushed herself off. "I'm gonna check in with the doctor....about tests... I'll talk to you later" she said quietly, walking quickly inside with shaky hands |

As she was heading to the infirmary, a member of her court stopped her. "What's the plan for the wedding?" He asked excitedly. "What?" Kayla snapped, confused and stressed enough already. "For you and your fugitive fiance" he stated, making Kayla's blood boil. "He's a good, honest man who has no charges. Do not reference my partner like that. And we're not engaged" |

The man nodded and left as Kayla continued to the doctor. After a few tests, the doctor confirmed she was pregnant and it seemed like a boy. She thanked him and walked to Gale with a blank expression. She sighed and sat beside him |
