"See? I can get much closer." Mercy teased, keeping herself pressed against him since she could finally be the one to annoy him. "Nope. Zero bubble here, not even a little one." She joked, shuffling closer. "Sorry, am I too close? Is this bothering you? Annoying?" She teased, staring up at him mischievously.

Ajax narrowed his eyes. "I know." He muttered, casting a glare at her. "Nope, not close at all. Nothing annoying about this." He drawled sarcastically, not eating his noodles. Gr. For some reason it struck him that anyone else behaving like this would make other people think they were boyfriend and girlfriend... that zapped her brain into half amusement and half smoldering more than usual. Smoke started rising from his shoulders as he thought about that. "Huruuuumph."

"Oh, Okay. Got it. Well, don't let me distract you from your food." Mercy huffed, promptly flopping across his legs and curling up, laying her head against his arm. "Just getting comfortable, don't mind me." She said sarcastically, determined to win the battle. She swatted lightly at his smoke with a small smile. "You know, if you didn't tell me I wasn't annoying you, I would think I was. What with the angry little smoke you're making, and the pouty face." She teased.

Ajax's muscles tensed as Mercy promptly found a way to get closer and flopped more over him than next to him. His black eyebrows dropped, and his expression grew a little stormy. "You- you little annoying angel." He growled, crossing his arms. "If you are tryin' to get me just to grab you and gently chuck ya off me, you're gettin' close to your destination." Ajax's voice slipped into his stronger Scottish accent, like when he was angry or flustered. He then glared at her for a moment as he tried to decide how to fix the situation that had taken a downfall. For him.

"Ooooh, are you angry?" Mercy teased, staying right where she was with a grin. She cocked an eyebrow at his comment. "Ouch, those are strong words. But you admit, I'm annoying?" She teased, toying with his hair briefly to bother him that much more. "Right, well, that's the bonus of having wings. It wouldn't hurt. But at least you would gently chuck me away." She joked.

Ajax let out an irritated breath of air. Mercy may not do it much, but she knew how to get to him. No one else ever figured that out because, cough cough, it was literally physical closeness and you wouldn't see another demon cuddling up next to him to make him angry. He was good in fighting because he could just shove them away, but that wouldn't work here because Ajax knew deep down no matter how angry Mercy made him or how much he wanted to slam her into the floor... he wouldn't... ever. "You are annoying." He muttered, glancing out the window. He was completely trapped in here... what would he do, get up and let her fall onto the floor? "Ok fine I may just grab you, find some chains in this house that definitely has no chains, and strap you to the wall or something until I'm finished enjoying my food that looks like brains that I've never eaten before., How's that?" ajax snorted

Mercy looked up at him with a mockingly sweet smile, tilting her head slightly. She knew he could do everything he threatened to, but a small, probably stupid voice in the back of her head, said he wouldn't. Not to her. She could bug him all she wanted, and she would still be safe. "But am I more annoying than you?" She pressed, looking very pleased with herself. She scoffed and shook her head, adjusting herself to get more comfortable. "You'll be hard pressed to find chains around here." She teased.

"Not more annoying than me yet." Ajax gave a deadly smile, knowing it would make his situation worse but also not giving her the satisfaction to be more annoying than HIM. No way. "Well Miss Angel, since I have impeciable demon capabilities, I can conjour chains anytime I want. No problem about that. Believe it or not, a lot of demons like using chains to tie down victims that they next want to torture. I have never used them for that purpose, but I am getting hard-pressed to get a very slightly annoying, quite tiny butterfly off of my lap." Ajax snorted indignantly.

"Oh, okay." Mercy nodded with a smirk, accepting his challenge. She promptly adjusted so she could wrap her arms around him, laying her head on his shoulder and curling up with her knees to her chest. "You do know you're making it seem like you enjoy this, right?" She teased, rolling her eyes at his boast. She let out a slightly outraged squeak when he finished. "I am not slightly annoying! I'm very annoying. And I'm not tiny OR a butterfly- it's not my fault you're as tall as the empire state building." She huffed, glaring up at him.

Ajax lifted his hands and rolled his eyes as Mercy adjusted yet again. "There is no possible way you could get closer." He pointed out. "Well, it is still working to make you maaad." Ajax teased right back, snickering when she got all flustered. "Aw you poor girl, just slightly annoying. Yes, you are tiny; accept it." He chuckled, poking her shoulder with a finger. "Rex come over here and slobber her till she gets off." Ajax commanded, and to probably some surprise, the dog got off his feet and abled over, giving Mercy some sloppy wet kisses.
