It was around dusk when she woke up again, blinking herself awake quietly. She glanced up at him and smiled, laying with him while she waited for him to wake up, gently playing with his hair.

Kennedy stayed asleep for quite awhile, when he finally did wake up he slowly opened his eyes and blinked a few times before glancing down to look at her. He smiled tiredly down at her while leaning his head into the hand that was in his hair "sleep well?" He asked quietly

"Yeah, I did. You?" She asked happily, reaching up so she could mess with his hair with both hands, ruffling it gently.

"Same here" He said still with a quiet tone before laying his head back and enjoying the way she messed with his hair, a usual deep purr escape from his throat

"Good." She sighed, smiling at his purr. "You're very vocal, aren't you?" She teased, laying a kiss on his cheek.

"I can't help it" He sorta whined with a small smile before pulling her up closer and burying his head in the crook of her neck

She laughed as he pulled her closer. "Hey, I wasn't complaining." She smiled, gently stroking his hair and laying her head on his.

"That's good" He said with a small chuckle before laying a light kiss on her neck. He slowly began to feel drowsy and warm by her touch and let another deep purr out "I sound like a cat..." He grumbled quietly

"I think you might be a cat, lovely." She giggled, laying a light kiss on his head. "Anyway, are you hungry? Thirsty? Do you need anything?" She asked, rather anxiously.

He snorted at her first comment before moving his head back to look at her "All I need is.. you.." He whispered softly in her ear with a smirk just trying to lighten her mood since she seemed anxious "But I have that so I guess nothing else, why do you ask?" He tilted his head slightly
