Ryker couldn't help but feel absolutely relived when her face changed after the recording. He couldn't lose her. Not over something like this. Yes Adelle was absolutely gross, but just that couldn't be the reason he lost his best friend. "Don't be SORRY just don't freak out again, eh?" He said quietly with a smile, bracing himself so he didn't get knocked over by her hug. "I would never betray you like that. Never."

Ryker's eyebrows creased at Abby's pain and tears. He squeezed her into a tighter hug and let out a breath. "Don't think like that, Abby. She's gone, at least for now, and you definitely don't have to worry about me. Rude people or grizzly bears, I tend to come out on top." He cracked a small smile. "Point is, everything will be fine. We just need to focus on the good things- like Shadow."

"Grizly bears..." she giggled. "And yeah. Shadow is a good thing" Abby leaned her head against him. "Well I think I'm gunna need a nap now" she looked up at him and rested her chin on his chest. "Short girls need a nap as long as tall guys. Come on!" She grabbed his arm and practically pulled him back to the house

Ryker didn't EXACTLY know what was FUNNY about his leg being CLAWED TO SMITHEREENS by 4 6 INCH LONG CLAWS but hey, Abby did Abby. He nodded in agreement at her statement about Shadow, letting out a snort at her next words. "You're not short. I'm just tall." He pointed out with a small laugh. As Abby tugged him against his will towards the house he sort of moved his feet to follow so she wouldn't have to drag all 180 odd pounds of him across the lawn.

Abby pushed him through the door, made her way to her room then flipped onto her bed without closing the door. She tossed and turned through her ten minutes in her nap.

Ryker shook his head. Abby would never cease to amaze, confuse, and amuse him. He ambled to the couch in the living room, laid lengthwise across it and sighed when his feet, calves, and knees all hung off the end, then dropped off into restful sleep.

Abby couldn't sleep after another five minutes so she got up, stomped through the living room and into the kitchen. She got a glass of water then walked over to the couch. "Your taking up the entire thing!" She rolled her eyes, pulled his legs away from the back then sat down, her legs hanging over his. Her feet didn't touch the ground

Ryker grumbled before opening one eye, then the other, and glaring at Abby. "What happened to a nap?" He mumbled, having fallen completely asleep. He grabbed a cowboy hat that he was usually wearing but had been hanging on a hook above the couch, plopping it down over his face and closing his eyes again.
