"This is my healthy weight, you giant." Mercy huffed, giving him a playful shove. "Right, right. That was my scheme all along. But really, what would I want with a big lump of sarcasm?" She asked flatly, gesturing to him and rolling her eyes. "Speaking of food with God knows what in it, I think it's here." She huffed, turning on her heel and stalking toward the door as there was a knock on it.

Ajax snickered as Mercy pushed him, holding back a wince. I little pain of pain sparked in his eyes but the look left quickly. "I have no idea. You tell me how the female brain works and I'll try to understand why you would want a big lump of sarcasm like me." He answered innocently, though a sly smile twitched at the corner of his lips. "Oh yay, I can sit and eatt food that is most likely bad for me then not move at all and gain even more weight, how fun." Ajax said cheerfully, clapping his hands and shifting over just slightly so that the person on the other side of the door couldn't see him. He had stepped on just the edge of the shadow that was cast by the tree outside the window, and almost vanished as the door opened. Then it closed again and Ajax took a step back over.

"I don't even know how my brain works, much less why I want you." Mercy huffed, closing the door as the person walked off with their tip. "Oh, great. You could be saying thank you instead of complaining, you toddler." She huffed, a look of perpetual annoyance on her face. She turned the TV on and plopped on the couch, putting the bag of food down in front of her. She gestured to the space beside her. "Come on." She added, pulling something out of the bag.

Ajax widened his eyes. "Oh madam, how could I POSSIBLY not? Thank you so much for getting me food to nurish my body in unhelpful ways." He attempted to gush, but mostly failed because Ajax Ripp did not have the physical or mental ability to *gush*. "Do you always eat with your TV on?" Ajax mumbled a question before slightly reluctantly walking over and sitting in a rather small chair a foot or two away from the couch. "What is that? It looks like brains." Ajax commented placidly.

"You're so, so welcome." Mercy said sarcastically, giving him a puzzled look as he sat down in a chair off from the couch. "I meant over here." She added, patting the place beside her on the couch in confusion. She raised her eyebrows at the question and nodded. "Usually, yeah." She responded, opening the box of noodles in her hand and sending him a flat look. "It's noodles. Do you want some?" She asked lightly, putting the box down and unpacking the bag easily.

Ajax gave a quiet groan and got right back up, sitting heavily on the couch instead. "ohhh noodles. That makes more sense." He chuckled with a grin, peering at the contents inside. "Are you suuuure it won't poison me?" He asked, cocking an eyebrow and tilting his head a little. "Oh wait, I think I'm getting better at reading expressions. Hm... this is hard... I think you're annoyed. Oh yes, VERY annoyed. A slight hint of amusement is creeping in against your will. Wait wait, now you are a little angry! Ooo annoyed again. Yes I would like some, I got distracted." Ajax half snickered half coughed with concealed laughter, smiling.

"I know, I ask so much of you. It's terribly hard to walk five feet to sit beside me." Mercy joked, grabbing a pair of chopsticks and taking a bite of the noodles. She glared at him. "100% sure, but the more annoying you are, the more it decreases." She said bluntly. "Oh, great job. Mainly correct except for the amusement part." She huffed, handing him the box of noodles. "You get distracted alot." She said sarcastically, shuffling slightly closer to him.

"Very hard!" Ajax exclaimed, but then focused on formulating a good answer for the next sentence. "Oh... okay. Does that mean... that a perfect, amazing, all-powerful angel would POISON a poor, helpless demon that only accidentally killed a couple other demons with very good reasons to do it?" He asked with a sad tone. "How terrifying to know you can't even trust angels these days." He sighed mournfully, taking the box of noodles and glancing at it a moment. "I do, thank you." Ajax answered cheerfully, then his gaze became bewildered. "Hey, why'd you do that. Are you trying to get close enough you can secretly sneak poison into my weird-looking food because I am so annoying? I have eyes, you know. Plus I don't like physical closeness so it won't work." He sniffed, though a joking sparkle shone in his dark eyes.

"I mean, my hand might accidentally SLIP and spill some sort of toxic waste into your food, but I would NEVER do it on purpose." Mercy teased, rolling her eyes at him and grabbing a small bag of crab rangoon. She gave him an unimpressed look at his overreaction. "No, you haven't annoyed me quite enough for that. Unfortunately for you, I do like physical closeness, so deal with it. Plus, I can always get closer." She challenged, jokingly scooting closer to him and leaning heavily against him.

Ajax let out a relieved sigh. "Oh good. Oh wait, not good, excuuuuse you." His eyes widened as Mercy scooted WAY too close and leaned against him. "My bubble has not only popped, it has EXPLODED." He yelped but it wasn't like he could go anywhere. He had a box of noodles, and he was squished against the side of couch. "DO you have a bubble? At all?" Ajax wrinkled his nose, taking his box and putting it on the armrest then pretty much trying to completely annoying Mercy.
