Kayla woke and hunted an elk, taking Gale's favorite cut and some leg for herself before dropping the rest at the kitchens. She cooked the two portions she'd kept and took some into Gale. "Baby?" She said softly

"Gale?" She asked, setting down the plates in worry as she called a medic in. "What's wrong? What happened?" She asked, shaking as she watches Gale lay there, her heart pounding in fear for her love

"Lost too much blood, which... we told him to stay still and stitched him up. So unless his stitches ripped he shouldn'tve had bled anymore, ma'am do you know if he got up or moved too much since you're the only person who's been with him very often.." She questioned Kayla, suspiciousness warping her tone.
