Mari watched him move the cat with furrowed brows, feeling kind of bad for having to disturb the little animal from her spot. She eventually slinked off to get changed into something a bit more comfortable and letting her hair out of whatever style the other maid had given her, then maid her way back towards the ward... she still have a very light little smile on her face... still exited about the evening they'd had, and even more happy to curl up with Sage later on. When she saw him sat on the bed, the girl crawled onto it behind him and slipped her hands under his shirt and wrapped them around his torso with a small, very weary chuckle.

Sage let out a tiny squeak when he felt the girl's hands slip under his shirt, a light blush forming on his face. He sort of leaned backwards into the girl with a small chuckle, humming "can we lay down," in a rather amused manner. He kind of flopped down after a moment, pulling the girl with him, and cuddled into her happily before pulling the blankets over the two of them and Amber, who'd made herself comfortable in the small space between his shoulder and neck. It had been a good day....a very good day, and they could sleep in tomorrow, too. He didn't know how quickly their relationship would progress, but he'd be happy with anything.

Mari gave a bit of nod to the boy, and fell back with him when he did. She smiled when he cuddled into her, and gave a bit of a chuckle when the kitten curled into him. She went to tickle the little animals chin with a gentle smile across her face, glad the kitten could be of comfort to the boy... that was exactly what she'd hoped would happen, and she was definately glad the kitten had grown to like Sage very fast too. She looked to the boy with another smile before placing a soft hand on his chest. "Thank you... for today," she whispered before curling into him a little bit. "I really loved it," she then added as she closed her eyes.

Sage smiled when the girl thanked him and hummed out a reply. "I did too," he hummed. Then he chuckled slightly. "You made it so good," he hummed tiredly, closing his eyes and shifting so he was curled up even closer to the girl. She had....he could have done the same thing alone or with someone else, and it probably wouldn't have been as nice. It most definitely wouldn't have been so... passionate. So electric. And he wouldn't be curled up with the girl he loved right then, either. He did note the hand on his chest was pressing against his bare skin, and if he wasn't so tired, he would have blushed a lot more and may or may not have commented on the fact just to play around. Of course, he could hope something would come out of it. Just not tonight. Tonight, he was glad to rest.

Mari smiled tiredly to the boy... she really had enjoyed the night... she'd been out, but she'd never really been on a date that they'd organised... it was normally very spur of the moment, so this was nice... it meant she had something to get excited about for once. She rested her head on the pillow next to him, getting comfortable a bit more before cuddling in so that their legs were entwined. So, apparently she was a cuddler. She liked feeling safe with him, really feeling loved in his arms. It wasn't something she'd felt in a long while, and she did like it.

Sage smiled tiredly when the girl scooted closer to him to cuddle up. He did notice her leg sliding between his...and he had a feeling that in the morning he'd notice that a lot more...but for now he was happy to just close his eyes and fall asleep. He was asleep soon too, pretty much as soon as he settled down.

Mari fell asleep fairly quickly... and it was a comfortable sleep too. It was dreemless and peaceful, and she did like it. She was so warm, so safe, and it was... nice. Once or twice, the girl did wake up, but it was just to shift a little bit to get comfortable. She smiled softly when she realised she was still curled up next to the boy, then settled back down again. She felt her cheeks flush when the thought back about the night... her heart pouneded a few beats before going back to normal and letting her get to sleep. She slept until early the next morning from there, and even though she was half awake, the girl didn't have the energy to open her eyes... and she didn't want to, either.

Sage slept well through the night ...he didn't wake up, which was pleasantly surprising and helpful. He couldn't remember the last time he'd slept like this. He woke up because of the sun in his face, and he sort of hugged out a tired breath and buryed his face in Maris chest in an effort to block the sun out. It was warm and he was comfortable, and he definitely did not want to move or get up. It had been a great night, and he didn't want that to end. He didn't want any of it to end....he did hope the girl would make a habit of sleeping with him. It was not only nice, but it did help him sleep better too.

Mari smiled softly when the boy hugged into her, so she wrapped an arm around his back and into his hair in a kind of comforting way. She smiled when the boy burried his face into her chest, and she couldn't help the ever so slight chuckle that escaped her as she pulled the blanket up ever so slightly. It was already pretty late in the day... about eleven, which did send a bit of panic through her, knowing that she did have to get to work... but, also, the doctor would have come to find her if it was that urgent. She shuffled in a tiny bit more, her leg sliding back in between his and her spare arm fussing the kitten that had curled up next to Sage as her chin rested lightly on his head.

Sage let out a soft huff of air when the girl wrapped her arms around him, relaxing a bit more, if that was even possible. Though, when he felt her leg shift in-between his, he couldn't help the light blush that spread across his face. He blushed harder at the realization of that, and he was suddenly a bit glad the girl couldn't see his face. He didn't mind the movement...it was quite the opposite in fact. Amber opened an eye to peer up at Mari before closing it again, a light purr rumbling I'm her throat. The doctor had taken care of chores, knowing the two had been up late. He'd stayed up a bit, and they were still out when he'd gone to bed, so he assumed they'd only been back for a little bit.
