The light from the city outlined the angles of his face, making him even more heart-stoppingly handsome. She didn't want to admit it, but sometimes she did think of him that way. |

(ok mort) Caden kept his gaze on the plane passing by, thinking back to when he was a child and absolutely terrified of them. He remembered his mother having to drag him onto one, and how he calmed down the second he sat down and she assured him. The man slipped his eyes shut, resting his head lightly against the wall. |

Iris clawed her eyes away from his face and looked back out at the city. She knew if he opened his eyes to look at her while her eyes were still on him she'd get that feeling again. Not that she didn't want to... She did. It just scared her a little bit. |

He opened them once more, slowly, as he didnt want to open them like a mom getting woken up by her child on Christmas morning ; seems like they're getting awoken from the dead for no reason. Caden looked over at Iris, seeing she was looking out at the city and curious as to what had her attention. The man looked at where her gaze was pointed, seeing it was just blank sky and deeming she was zoned out. |

(ooh good simile) . Iris flicked her gaze to Caden, not being able to help it. She looked away again quickly, and let her head rest on his shoulder. Man, was she tired. It had been a trying day. She didn't want to think about it, so just kept her gaze at the twinkling lights of the city. |

Caden slipped his arm down to around her waist, mainly because it was starting to hurt up on her shoulders. The familiar weight of her head resting on his shoulder came into play, the man smiling every so slightly. He looked down at her, seeing she was still looking out at the city. |

A shiver went up Iris's spine when Caden's hand moved to her waist. She tensed slightly at the touch but relaxed again, smiling a little. She sensed his eyes on her and gave in, locking her eyes with his.. |

He held her gaze for a moment before dragging it away, simply just because he was unsure what to do. -Wimp, should've done it ya sissy.- Caden thought looking back at her.. |

Iris didn't do anything either, because she was frozen to the spot. Just something about his eyes was so (insert a word I can't think of one x.x) that she couldn't look away. And she couldn't move any part of her. She found herself getting closer to him, though very slowly. |

Caden noticed her getting closer, finding himself doing the exact same thing. His heart hammered inside his chest with... excitement? Panic? He wasn't sure, but he was hoping that they both felt the same thing and weren't on totally different paths. |
