Morgan shook her head at him quickly. "Baby boy, I promise you did nothing wrong last night. You kept yourself alive, and you didn't kill anyone. You didn't try and kill anyone," she told him softly she bit the inside of her lip for just a moment. "I'll get you some help for all this... I'm sure. My dad would be willing to at very least try and help."

"No, I must have done something wrong. There's always something....." He muttered, unable to stop the tears that rolled down his face as he tried to think of something-anything-he may have done wrong to upset his parents this time.

Morgan shook her head quickly after a moment, her brows pinching together. "Caleb, you were asleep, with me. You did nothing. We'll fix this, I promise," she whispered softly after a moment or two, her eyes soft. She meant it too... she'd help him. He'd done nothing but stress out about the arrival of his parents for the last few moments... she wanted to fix that. She'd wanted to help. She put a soft hand on his cheek. "Try not to worry... I'll testify for you, hm? Right now, you need to relax, get some rest and heal," she whispered softly.

|
"You're sure?" He muttered shakily, meeting her eyes. His eyes were pleading and welled up with tears. He felt so vulnerable in that moment, so useless to anyone. When she mentioned testifying for him, he shook his head. "No, you've already been too nice to me. I can't keep asking more of you." He muttered, placing his hand on hers with a wince

Morgan nodded to him, and ran a comforting hand through his hair. "I'm sure. You didn't deserve this, Caleb," she whispered gently, holding his hand when he moved it on top of hers. She sighed softly when he continued to mutter, and leaned in to peck his lips. "You're my boyfriend. I love you. You're in trouble, and I can help you. You need to let me," she murmured softly to him. "You have asked nothing of me, other than to keep myself safe. It's my turn ti keep you safe now," she whispered softly to him. "Get some rest, heal, then we'll deal with all okay," she asked him gently.

Caleb just nodded, thinking hard. He let himself fall back against the bed and his eyes shut

Morgan smiled gently to him when he seemed to accept she'd be helping him no matter what... good, that was all she wanted. When he fell back against the bed, she squeezed his hand with one hand and with the other she gently entwined it in his hair, refusing to leave his side. After about half an hour, she did have to message her parents, letting them know what had happened... and, rightfully so, they were incredibly worried. Her father was offering her all sorts of help with it all, and she'd speak to Caleb about it all when he was a little bit better.

Caleb stayed in the hospital for a few days until he was discharged to go home with a court date set for a couple days away. He had damaged lungs because of a knife puncture, but he'd be fine as long as it didn't happen again. He walked out of the hospital, taking Morgan's hand and looking at her. "Can you drive?" He asked

Morgan nodded softly when he asked if she could drive. He was still really in no state to be doing anything. They'd figure it all out, one way or another. She helped him in the car and buckled him in before going over to her side of the car. They'd be going back to hers... she was giving him no option to decide differently. She pulled out without saying anything, and before long they'd arrived at her house, where she carefully helped him out the car and into the house, where she settled him down on the couch.

"Morgan, i'm fine" He muttered, gritting his teeth to stifle a wince that threatened to escape. He kissed her lips softly and laid down on the couch tiredly. He didn't like how vulnerable and weak he felt while he was like this...
