T chuckled softly at Liz's coo, cuddling into the little child happily. She pressed a light kiss to the girl's head, waiting patiently for Sage to have his moment with Luci. "The best." T corrected automatically, still grinning at the child in her arms. She nodded at his plan, only just looking back at him. "Sounds good. Lead the way, love." She said lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, getting up off his knees and standing up with a grunt before nodding and starting down the slope they were on, Lucifer at his heels and T not far behind with Lizzie. He paused at the bottom before hopping down the rest of the way, checking for zombies, but when he didn't see or hear anything, he hopped down and then waited for the others, keeping an eye out for....well, anything.

T made her way after Sage carefully, for Liz's sake, which slowed her a bit. She landed gracefully, keeping Liz on her hip with one arm, a handgun in the other. Lucifer scrambled down after, sniffling around cautiously. They both followed Sage in silence.

Sage wandered around cautiously for a while, purposely staying slightly ahead of the others, though not far enough ahead that if he needed to get behind them or anything he wouldn't be able to do it. Soon enough, though, they made it to the town, and he looked around, pausing for a moment. "Do we want to try houses or the stores first," he asked T, in a quiet voice, not wanting to alert anything, or anyone, to their presence there.

T walked slyfootedly toward town, her head up and alert. As they walked, she moved to grab a scarf from her bag, wrapping it around both her body and Liz's so she could use both hands readily. The baby didn't seem bothered by it in the least. She set her fingers gently to Sage's spine at his question, mainly to reassure herself he was there than anything else. "Stores. Food, then mattress. More likely for non expired food to be in stores." She nodded quietly, leading the way silently toward the back of a few storefronts.

Sage nodded in agreement with the girl, sliding to the left, moving away from the houses and towards the shops. He stayed close to T, since both her and Liz were connected, and honestly his first priority was keeping them safe. T could fight, he knew that, but she was also holding his baby girl, and he didn't want to take a chance since both of them were somewhat vulnerable that way. "The freezers are closest, we can check there and then slide over to check on canned goods and such," he hummed quietly, pausing in the doorway to look around before sliding in quietly.

T nodded in agreement at his words, looking around with narrowed eyes before she made her way into the store and toward the freezer aisle. Her eyes darted back and forth anxiously as she moved, one arm wrapped around Liz and the other wielding a knife.

Sage sort of patted along next to the girls, peering around the store before moving to dig around in the back freezer area of the store. He did find a small chunk of beef....which was honestly something he hadn't seen in a while. He sort of waved it around to show T he found something before sliding it into the bag and then continuing to creep around. Of course, the building was old, but he didn't think much of it before the floor gave way beneath him and he landed on his back maybe five feet or so below where he was standing. He had to catch his breath, and blink to clear the dust out of his eyes, but soon enough he sort of just started chuckling. It really was just amusing now that he figured out he was just going to be sore ....he he'd plenty of scratches and no doubt bruises, but he was alright so he found it all rather rediculous.

T was busy rooting through her section of the freezer aisle, grabbing a bag of frozen corn. With some water, and a fire, it would be a good meal. She tossed it in her bag and went to keep looking when the crash occurred. Her gun was up in a half second, pointing to where Sage had been. Her heart raced unsteadily and she ran forward to the hole in the ground, making a strangled yelp. "Sage?!" She called softly, wary of calling zombies to them. She got as close as she dared and cradled Liz to her chest, peering down in the hole and waving dust away from her face. "Sage? God, Sage, please be okay." She murmured in a panic, unable to see him.

Sage hadn't heard the girl yell at first, since his ears were still ringing and by then he was laughing at his own stupidity. Though, he heard her after a few moments, and felt sort of bad at how worried she seemed, so he gathered his thoughts enough to sit up and crawl out of the debris that was the floor, still chuckling. "I'm alright," he called up to her. "I think my ego is bruised more than anything else," he half joked, moving over to where he could squint up at her, honestly still finding the whole situation amusing. "probably should have known the floor was gonna give out," he mused, looking around. "On the bright side, I found the cellar to the store," he added, after finding a door that was slightly ajar and peering in to find a bunch of cans of stuff in there.
