"Yeah, I did." Mercy confirmed, rolling her eyes. "I mean, you can take it as a compliment if you like." She shrugged, glaring at him as be swatted her hands away. She gave him an insulted look, narrowing her eyes. "Oh, gee, thanks. I gave you an almost compliment and you chose to insult me, how sweet of you." She said bitterly.

Ajax raised his eyebrows as Mercy narrowed her eyes. "Oh well I will take that a different way then. So sorry, madam, but I am not physically or mentally capable of complimenting someone." He announced, this time with a strong German accent and a charming grin on the side. "Plus knowing youuuu it tis hard to be mad at me for looong." Ajax coughed, hiding twinkling eyes.

Mercy gave him an unimpressed glare and crossed her arms. "You're such a dingbat." She scoffed, but she couldn't help smiling anyway. She flick on the head and rolled her eyes. "Don't smile like that, it makes you look stupid. And I can be mad at you for however long I want to." She huffed.

"Oo a ding bat is that a new one?" Ajax asked with a grin, ending his charming smile because Mercy obviosuly didn't like it. "Gee- thanks." He muttered sarcastically, raising his eyebrows and looking at her as she huffed her last comment. "Riggght. Okay. Sure. You just tell yourself that." He snickered

"Nope, not new. Just reused." Mercy said sarcastically, brushing past him to walk towards Rex and Binx. "You're very welcome." She returned in a mock sweet tone, kneeling by Rex's side lightly to give birth him and her cat some pets. She turned around as he snickered at her. "I can! I just... won't because... not being mad is easier." She lied.

Ajax walked her walking towards Rex, snorting slightly as she spoke. "Oh you can? I would have never guessed! I understand that not being mad is easier for a pretty lil' angel, but I really didn't think angels could lie..." Ajax said, quite innocently and sweetly, a daring twinkle in his dark eyes that shimmered blue as he spoke.

Mercy glared at him, getting back up and putting her hands on her hips. "Aw, are you calling me pretty?" She asked sarcastically, walking back up to him. "I- w- don't underestimate me!" She huffed. "If I could tackle you, I would."

Ajax's eyes creased slightly as he smiled. "Take it however you want. Coming from me, that could be an insult." He answered simply, grinning as she stuttered a little. "If you could, the key words. You can't. So... ha." He barked a laugh, waving a hand. "I have a feeling you missed your opportunity to tackle me... when I was already on the ground, bleeding, and really quite unable to move since my ribs had been shattered. That would have been a good place to tackle me. But wait... I was already on the ground. Guess you're too late." Ajax chuckled

"Well, you insult me so often it's nothing extraordinary." Mercy said flatly, glaring at him. She swatted at his hand, crossing her arms and turning her glare to direct it out the window as he spoke. "I meant if I weighed more than half your weight. Even then, you'd probably have to be tottering around for me to manage it." She muttered.

Ajax cocked an eyebrow at her second comment. "Maybe you should eat some more food that is bad for you dear..." He trailed off with a cough that was obviously trying to hide a laugh he couldn't hold back. "Oh but you are already trying with this Chinese food thing. I see your scheme, keeping me here so I can't move around and feeding me food that has only God knows what in it." Ajax teased slowly, his voice dripping with that joking sarcasm he was unthankfully quite good at.
