Tyler glanced at Josh as he walked up. "No, but thank you." He nodded, smiling at the other man. It was tense, though. Tyler didn't really like it when other people touched his horses... or even talking to other people in general. Abby was really the only person he had open conversations with. Tyler glanced iver at Abby... she looked very sad. "What's wrong..?" He asked quietly, looking at Titan and Grace Cloud.

"i can't ride him... he's so excited... Tyler... i taught him to lift his leg when he wants to go ride... and he did... and i can't ride him..." tears started to fall down her cheeks -why am i so emotional all of a sudden... what is wrong with me!?- she sighed as she pet the prancing filly beside her, her other hand holding his mane to hold herself up Edited at April 24, 2023 05:36 PM by Sky Stables

Tyler looked at Abby. "You will be able to ride him, its only a matter of time. I promise you, you CAN get better. There's no doubt about that. The question is... will you? You sure aren't going to get better thinking you never will." Tyler said quietly. He knew Abby had it inside her... he believed in her... it was a matter of whether she believed in herself.

she looked down -is it even possible...?- she raised her head "can i sit on him right now...?"

Tyler glanced back to her. He regarded the problem for a moment. -Well... the worst that could happen is Titan bolts off and Abby falls and kills herself. Is that likely? No. The best that could happen... Titan stands there, I hold Abby on, her confidence isn't boosted, she is riding again next week.- Tyler thought. He finally made his decision. "Yes... but you'd better be sure he's going to stand still." Tyler said quietly. He glanced at Titan... Tyler really did believe the horse wouldn't do anything to purposefully hurt Abby

Abby's face lit up as she turned to Titan "you better stand still, you understand?" as if he actually did, he tossed his head then collected, standing completely still. Abby turned, tied Grace up, then turned back to Titan who seemed frozen. she smiled at Tyler

Tyler looked up at the sky, then walked over to Abby and helped her onto the very patiently waiting horse. (Who cares about the helmet or a bridle or anything LOL) Tyler held Titan's halter and glanced up at Abby, making sure she didn't fall off. "Happy?" He asked with a small smile

her face shined like the sun... she was overcomed by happiness "how long has it been since i've ridden him...?" Titan stood still except for the occasional tail flick and ear movment as he listened to Abby and Tyler

"It doesn't matter how long it has been. It matters how much you will be." Tyler smiled, glad to see her happy. "I told you" he chuckled

she smiled even more as she leaned down and hugged her horse, who turned his badger face head and watched her out of his blue eye. Abby reached down and pet his chestnut face
