Tyler went all the way back to the cabin and dropped off the steel, then he looked at the firewood, then the cabin... and last he looked at a big shed behind the cabin. Maybe he would go on a fourwheeler ride. For some reason he felt like he needed to see Nikki again... though he couldn't remember why.... then Tyler's snapped his fingers and chuckled slightly. "I got it. Because I RIPPED out ALL my stitches being an IDIOT." he huffed, but even he was smart enough to know that wasn't true either. Tyler probably only ripped out one or two stitches. In any case, he kind of wanted to see her again anyway for some unknown reason. -Where would someone like Nikki be- Tyler thought. He already guessed the answer, if she was a mostly normal girl, and there was no way in heck he was going there. -Not the mall. No way- Tyler thought grumpily, going back inside and contemplating his decisions. He finally decided to waited a little longer, and meanwhile see what food he needed since he was running a bit low.

Once they arrived at the mall the group split into two separate ones. The first being the group that was there specifically for shopping, mostly clothes, since they had money to throw. The second was Niki's group aka the poor ones. Well not really poor but they didn't want to through their cash like crazy and were mostly there to hang out and see any new stuff in the mall. Niki's group walked around the mall aimlessly, stopping at a few interesting stores and buying mostly cheap stuff. Once they reached the center of the mall they saw the main attraction they had heard about, an entire working Ferris wheel. Although Ferris wheels were dumb most of the time, the group still stood there in awe that they had built one in doors. After a few minutes of waiting they finally were able to get on the ride two at a time and get a eagle's view of the shops nearby, both on the top and bottom levels. Then, when they got off, went to investigate the shops they had spotted. The part of the mall they were in was entirely new so there were a lot of new shops to explore.

Tyler finally forced himself to go, almost feeling like he had to prod himself forward. He grabbed a couple bags for groceries and walked off, going to the nearby town. After he was there he got what he needed, then entered the mall with a wince. -She may not be here. I pray she's not here. Please tell me she is not here- Tyler thought first, then his kind spiraled to -You don't need the stitches repaired that badly, and I wouldn't be surprised if she smacked you over the head with a bottle instead- he argued with himself in his mind, halting and heading straight back out. Tyler may die if he went into the mall, anyway

After hours of hanging out Niki finally pulled herself away from her friends, saying that she had to go get ready for work. After saying their goodbyes Niki started to head home with a decent sized tote bag of items. As she walked she thought she noticed someone familiar near the doors of the mall. 'Is that Tyler,' she thinks as she heads out, 'no it can't be. Can it?' She walked out the doors and looked for the man again before approaching. "Tyler," she asked a bit confused. She prayed that it was him and not some random person that looked a lot like him.

Tyler freezes with a wince as he heard Nikki's voice. He hadn't exactly meant for it to go this way... but... er... nope, he didn't really know what to do. -Yeah sure, pretend like I was shopping.., at a mall... like THAT would ever happen- he thought grumpily, his brain diving back to his year or two in the Marines. -Think up something- Tyler thought, turning around to face her with a look of surprise. "Oh.. hi, Nikki." He answered hesitantly, not really wanting to be in this situation in the first place.

Niki watched Tyler as he didn't acknowledge her at first. -Maybe it's not him,- she thinks, -maybe it's someone else.- After a moment though she was proven otherwise when he turned and greeted her with a look of surprise. "I didn't expect to see you out here," she says, "I thought you didn't like crowds? Is something up?"

Tyler tilted his head slightly and glanced around. He almost looked like a caged animal at this point... a little tense, his eyes flitting around, but he still tried to focus on Nikki. "I don't like crowds, you got that right." He said slowly. "And the sky is up. I thought you knew that." Tyler half-heartedly joked, since that's what he usually did to cover up he was quite uncomfortable. He thought about it for a moment before giving up on the whole thing. "No, I was just walking home from getting a couple things to eat."

Niki watched Tyler as he looked around some before answering her questions. Her eyes rolled a bit at Tyler's joke along with a small smile that appeared on her face. "Alright then," she says at his last comment, "by the way how are those stitches holding up? I would be careful moving around so much or they could come loose. Or, in the worst case, they can tear out. If that happens then those wounds of yours could get worst."

Tyler was about ready to start the walk home when Nikki spoke again. -Whoops- He thought at her words. -Oh yes, she hath confirmed what gives me incredible pain. Yay- He thought cheerily, looking a bit sheepish. "Well..." Tyler paused. "How much movement are we talking about?" He offered tenatively, knowing most of his stitches had already ripped out. -Good way to make her md I wasted her time. Great job, Tyler, keep up the bad work- He thought grumpily

Niki gave him a questioning look before answering the question. "Like no doing big workouts or anything too excessive," she says, "lift with your knees and not your back and just don't do big jobs. Pretty simple really." She adjusted the bag she had as she spoke to Tyler and tried to read his face and form, but sadly got nothing out of it.
