Aria woke up shortly after Sage and frowned when she saw him doing papers again. The girl grabbed Caroline and walked over to Sage. "Morning." She whispered dully. "I'm going to take Caroline outside with me... if, at some point... you might want to join us." The girl asked before sighing and walking outside with the baby girl. Caroline made little baby coos. Aria smiled and kissed her soft cheeks, then seeing Sage in the window. She didn't want to distract him, so she walked further away under her and Sage's tree. It always comforted her there. Aria laid Caroline in the grass and played with her little hands. She smiled, loving every moment of being a mother.

Sage glanced up at Aria and nodded. He knew she probably didn't like him doing papers all the time, but there was so much to do suddenly. He didn't really have a choice. He'd much rather be with her and Caroline than here doing paperwork, but he really had no choice. He heard a knock on the door and he called for them to come in. A guard rushed in and spoke to him, whispering the news in his ear. His eyes widened slightly and he nodded. The guard left, and sage pushed the chair he was on back and wandered over to Aria and Caroline, obviously concerned.

Aria played with Caroline for a while before Sage walked over to them. He looked concerned. "Papers finished?" She asked him. "You look concerned about something. Is everything okay?" The girl asked him. Caroline was laying on her stomach in the grass. "I had an idea. I know your dad is sick, and well... he doesn't really know me, or Caroline. So maybe, we could go see him?" She offered. "I mean... if you want. I don't want to put any more work on you." Aria said. She scooped up Caroline in her arms and stood up next to Sage.

Sage sighed and shook his head then wrinkled his nose. "Yeah, that's the thing...he just died," he muttered. "Which leaves me a crown I don't know how to fill," he groaned. He didn't much care that the old man was dead....he never liked him...but now he was king. And that was definitely scary.

Aria looked down. "Oh, i'm sorry." She said, wrapping an arm around the boy. "I know you didn't really like him anyways." She giggled. "You'll be a great king, and i'll be with you through it all. I promise." She really meant it.

Sage hummed lightly and leaned up to press a kiss to the girl's cheek. "Makes the castle a bit more peaceful," he admitted. "At least, until this other kingdom declares war. They had something going on with my father, and I don't know anything about it, and they're just blaming me to make a war," he groaned. Then he smiled and nodded. "I know," he hummed. "Though, getting us married as soon as possible will protect you much more, if it does come to war." He thought it would, too. And soon.

Aria nodded along with what Sage was saying. She did want to get married soon. Very soon. Being with him meant everything to her. "We should start planning the wedding then!" She joked happily. The girl looked into town. "And maybe I should go dress shopping today. I can bring Caroline along so you can get your work done." She said.

|
Sage hummed and nodded. "That sounds fine," he chirped. "Bring someone with you though...one of the maids or something. They'd be happy to go with you, and I'd be good to make a friend or two here anyway," he told her. He didn't want her wandering around town by herself. That could end bad.

|
Aria smiled. "Okay. See you soon! Love you." The girl said rushing inside to find a maid. They walked down to the dress shop together as Aria searched through heaps of dresses. The girl tried on a few before finding a stunning white dress. The bottom was lace and it had flowy mesh sleeves. Aria smiled to herself in the mirror and nodded. "This is the one. Sage will love it." She said happily, finding a pair of diamond heels and a white, mesh vail.

Sage smiled and nodding, chuckling slightly at the girl's excitement. It was nice to see...it meant she was excited to marry him, and he just liked that. He was just as excited, and hed have to find clothes and all the rest, but he supposed trying to stop a war came first. So, after a few minutes of laying in the sun happily, he went back to his room to finish his work.
