Rose nodded and closed her eyes

Caden put up his dishes and checked the date, March 28th. He sighed and tugged on some shoes, heading onto the backporch and starting to re-open the pool for the summer.

Rose noticed him go outside but soon accidentally slipped into sleep

Caden finished the pool and tossed a chlorine tablet in it, hoping it'd be fine by noon.

Caden headed inside and changed into a pair of trunks, grabbing a towel aswell.He walked outside and dragged out a chair, lying down on it before dozing off in the Arizona sun.

Rose woke a bit later, around noon, and saw Caden outside. She walked over and sat in his lap, laying her head on his shoulder

Caden stirred and noticed Rose in his lap, his hand going to the back of her head and holding her to him. "You alright?" He asks, kissing her cheek.

"Just tired. I woke up at midnight and couldn't fall asleep so I went to the balcony and memories rushed back." She explained quietly

"I'm sorry, you could've came and told me, would've talked with you about it.Well, now I hope that doesn't happen tonight." Caden says, listening.
