Morgan shook her head at him, and leaned in to peck his cheek. She didn't know just how bad it was. His own mother had attacked him with a knife. She'd hurt him this bad. She didn't know what would have happened if she wasn't there... would he have bled out? Would have have... she didn't want to think about it. She didn't want to imagine what could have happened. She just wanted to be there with him right then, glad he was as okay as he could have been. "It's okay," she whispered to him. "I'm glad I saw... we need to get you out of there, Caleb. You can't live with them," she whispered gently to him.

"It's fine" He said quietly. "I don't want to be a problem for you. They just drink......a lot...." He said quietly, barely a whisper as another tear rolled down his cheek and he kept his face away from her. He had so many scars, making his arms and back a maze of them, and he hated himself that he couldn't be normal and safe for her. She must hate him and how he can't protect her...

Morgan gently wiped his cheek with her thumb, hating that he felt like this. She hated that he thought he would be a problem. "God no. Caleb, you're not a problem," she promised him, wrapping careful arms around him as she shifted in her chair slightly. "I can help you. I could've helped you," she whispered softly, gently giving him a squeeze. "I nearly..." she trailed off, having to swallow the lump in her throat. "I nearly lost you, Caleb. I could have..." she went quiet after a moment.

"Im glad you didn't do anything." He said after a moment. "It would be you sitting here and not me." He muttered guiltily. "I'm sorry" He stayed there for a moment. "I need to go back." He said after a while. The nurse walked in and smiled at Caleb. "Your vitals look..." The nurse hesitated. "Decent" She walked over and checked Caleb's IV before nodding to herself and left with a look of concern on her face.

Morgan furrowed her brows softly, her hand resting on his cheek. "You shouldn't be sat here. You don't deserve this, Caleb," she whispered softly. She would help him. He could stay with her, at least until he decided what he wanted to do next. She'd look after him, make sure he was never in that position again. "Stop apologising," she told him softly. "I'm... just glad you're awake," she murmured, leaning in to peck his cheek. She looked up as the nurse came in, and looked down after a moment. The woman looked worried, despite her comment, which did sent Morgan into another wave of panic.

Caleb didn't speak anymore, thinking probably too hard for what he was thinking about. He sighed as the nurse came back in. "Ma'am, could you please axcuse us for a moment? I would like to talk to Mr.Hunt privately." She said, a smirk playing on her face

Morgan looked up after a moment, when she heard the nurse speak, and gave a gentle nod. She leaned in to press a soft kiss to his lips, and gently patted his chest. "I'll see you in a bit, hm?" She told him quietly, leaving the room hesitantly. She wanted to get him some things... food and the likes, so wandered down to the small shops in the hospital to get some snacks and a small teddy bear for him. He'd like that, right? It was something you normally got for people when they were injured... and, well, it was cute. She started to wander up maybe twenty minutes later, waiting outside until she was let in.

The nurse looked at Caleb, her eyes grazing up and down him multiple times and Caleb followed her thoughts carefully. She sat down at the foot of the bed and placed a firm hand on his leg. "I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're going straight to trial once you're discharged from here. A woman came here with quite a few cut wounds and recognized your face, claiming you'd tried to kill her." The nurse said softly. Caleb's eyes narrowed at her as she described the woman. "That's my mother." He stated simply. The alarm in the nurse's expression was obvious as she quickly rose and walked briskly out of the room, letting Morgan in. "Morgan...." Caleb started, a slight look of anger still lingering on his face. "Um......My mother, uh, has me on trial for attempted murder..."

Morgan sat outside, holding a small bag of things in her hands until she was let in. She greeted him with a smile, although it quickly dropped when saw the look on his face. She came to sit down next to him when he said her name, and her brows pinched softly together when he started to explain. She put the bag down, and looked over at him, rather... stunned. "What?" She asked simply, anger flashing through her own face, along with something that could only be described as worry. "But you did nothing," she whispered. He'd only defended himself. She had no doubt in her mind that if he wanted to, he would have killed the woman. But he didn't, and he'd come away worse for it. "That can't be right," she whispered.

"Its what the nurse said, but I feel like this might be my fault..." He said quietly. He didn't remember doing anything wrong, but he hadn't really paid attention to anything he might have forgotten to do. He'd cleaned the house, made sure to not die, did chores....
