Ryker was glad he asked. Plus it would give him an excuse to spend more time with Abby and less near Adelle. He chuckled slightly at her bounciness, striding off towards the tackroom on command. Grabbing the lead rope he was instructed to get, he walked back out and handed it to Abby.

Abby clipped it onto Suns halter and led her and her wobbly Colt out to the field. "I don't know what to think of that girl. From the looks of it she's remembering you very well..." Abby looked at him then away then back at him, unsure of the situation

Ryker made a quick decision to not get Setpant yet- if anything went wrong with Shadow he wanted free hands to help. He followed Abby out, wincing slightly at her words. Of course he didn't WANT to be remembered. He just was. "I don't know what to think either. All I was to her was entertainment back then. I don't know what will happen now." He commented.

Abby stopped. "Entertainment..?" She tilted her head to the side. "Is she one of the ones that bullied you? " Abby put her hands on her hips "ohhhh I'm gunna get her" Abby frowned. Sun tossed her head while Shadow trotted around his mother, his fluffy champagne coat catching the sunlight.

Ryker winced again. He hadn't completely realized he didn't get that point across. Probably would've been better if he'd kept his mouth shut. "People mature over time. I'm sure she did. Don't beat her into a pulp yet." He half jokingly pleaded half meant it.

Abby sighed and rolled her eyes. "Fiiiiine" she groaned, leaning against him. "You know I'm not capable of hurting anyone" she ducked her head. "That's why I have you!" She giggled and jumped, throwing her arms around him. When she jumped, Sun threw her head up, spooking Shadow. He side stepped then hid under his mothers tail. Abby winced "whoops"

Ryker grinned a little, having known that would happen. "Of course not. And yes that's obviously the only reason I am here." He nodded slowly, his voice teasing. Glancing at the horses as they spooked, Ryker looked back towards the barn Adelle had disappeared into.

Abby giggled. She kept her arms around him. "Now what?" She gripped into the lead rope

"Now I comment that Shadow seems to be enjoying the great outdoors." Ryker laughed as the colt bounced around a little before going right back to Sun quickly. "He's just perfect."

"Just perfect" she mumbled and leaned against him
