"Matt, please-" Trixie faltered, then shut down and chose not to press him any further. His words hurt just as badly as they had before, and she sank back into his pillows slightly, looking out the window. "Yeah. Probably not." She responded, giving him a forced smile. She took his hoodie off and stood, managing not to stumble her way over to his dresser. She put it back where he had found it without saying a word, instead curling her arms around herself and walking back to the bed, sitting down on the edge. "I mean, whatever is fine with me." She said, fidgeting with her hands and looking down at them.

"Is there a problem? You said it, I agreed" Matt said with a shrug, watching as she placed his hoodie back where it had been with a slight sigh. "I dont see the point of you staying with me ifyou're gonna be in a bad mood." he said after a couple seconds of silence, his tone patronising. It was clear he was just trying to stir something, as he always did when alcohol was running through his system. "So you might as well go no?" He asked, breaking into the strange confident smile he had used when he had first met Trixie, looking at her through his fringe before he raked it back out his eyes and leant against the wall.

"Nope. No problem." Trixie shrugged, tempted to argue that wasn't what she said, but of course she dropped it. "I'm not in a bad mood, Matteo, I'm trying to figure out how to see straight." She said flatly, closing her eyes and giving a small sigh. "If you want me to leave, please just say that." She added bluntly, lifting her head to give him a sarcastic smile. The temptation to argue, to insult him, was very large. But she refused to rise to his bait, he didn't deserve that sense of satisfaction.

Matt frowned at the use of his actual name, though he decided to keep quiet about that, seeing as it wasn't exactly a big deal just yet. "Just use your eyes, it can't be that hard." he said with a small shrug, keeping a now straight face as he spoke though it was very clear he knew he wasn't helping at all. "No, i'd rather keep it to myself. I'm just saying if you'll be acting like this all night then it wont be very enjoyable" he spoke, staring out the window as his head span. "For you, anyway. I enjoy it" he added teasingly, turning his gaze back to Trixie.

"Right, right. How did I not think of that?" Trixie asked sarcastically, glancing over her shoulder at him. The room was starting to wave slightly before her eyes and she blinked a few times in an attempt to fix it. Her gaze turned into a slightly cold glare at his answer. "Right, well, I'd like to know where I'm wanted and where I'm not so that kind of goes against that." She said flatly, softening slightly at his tease. "Right, well, you do seem to enjoy watching me suffer." She said, only half teasing.

Matt sat himself back down on the bed and looked over at Trixie with a smile. "Alright well I want you here quite a lot, but I also don't wanna risk anything. I'm still not making the choice, stay if you wanna stay and go if you wanna go" he said, very aware he just wasn't helping in any way. "I do, you're very right. I'll make sure this happens more often just so I get something out of it" he added with a smile, the tease in his tone slowly increasing.

Trixie seemed to back down signifigantly as he confirmed that he wanted her there. "Well, I'll try not to tempt you too much then." She teased, smiling back at him. She rolled her eyes at him and nodded. "Right, thanks. I'll have to figure out some way to torture you while you're at it." She huffed sarcastically, flopping back on the bed so she could look at him upside-down. "What's your favorite movie?" She asked curiously.

Matt looked at Trixie intensely, standing against the wall. "You'll have to work not too then" he said quietly, giving her a teasing smile before looking back down at the various rings on his fingers. "feel free to torture me, it'll be funny" he added with a playful tone, heading over to sit next to Trixie, the urge to place his hand on her getting stronger as he spoke. "i'm not sure I have one, really. Anything horror maybe?" he suggested, though his sentence quickly followed with a shrug.

"I'm sure I will. Since I'm just naturally so," Trixie struck an overdramatic pose. "Provocative." She said sarcastically, sitting back up again after and messing with her hair for a moment before she turned to face him. She gave him a mock insulted look at his next comment. "Excuse you, my torture would not be funny." She huffed, watching him walk to her. She gave him a slightly expectant look, as though he might just wrap his arm around her if she willed him to. She let out a sigh at his suggestion, glaring at him. "Fine. Horror it is." She said flatly.

Matt frowned as she spoke, shaking his head slightly. "makes it sound bad" he said in an annoyed tone, fiddling with his hands. He watched as she turned to face him, keeping his hands firmly to himself which was proving to be a struggle now that he was sat plainly next to Trixie. His annoyed expression turned quickly into a smile at her second comment. "Oh I dunno, I reckon i'd find it funny you trying to torture me" he said with a slight laugh, looking Trixie in the eye for a split second. "Good" he added, promptly finding what he could and putting on whatever the first movie was, settling back against the bed.
