Andi nodded her head slowly as she listened and wrote it down "Okay..." She finally set her phone down looking up "It'd make sense that they wouldn't want you back for another month, you need time to heal of course. But also time to build strength back up" She rubbed her shoulder "Trust me I know all about that" She said with a small smile. Her eyes widened as she listened to him say the last part "Yeah let's not get you killed... But don't worry a month will go by sooner than you think" She said comfortingly

Tyler closed his eyes for a moment. "A month is an incredibly long time... much longer than a couple broken ribs, a bullet wound, and a dagger wound need to heal." Tyler muttered under his breath... even thought he knew Andi was right. Especially when he was injured, a month wasn't that long to wait, and he needed to rest. On the bright side it gave him more than enough time to start training Raven.

Andi sank down further on the couch starting to get relaxed "Well a month is better than going back early just to get injured again and have to be out more" She said sternly trying to get her point across to him. She understood that he wanted to get back to work and that he probably knew that she was right but she wanted to make sure he got the right idea through his mind. She eventually got up going into the kitchen to look for something to eat "Do you want anything to eat? I can make something" She said while looking through the cabinets

Tyler glanced at Andi, a slight smile on his face. "Yes... I know." He answered slowly, looking back to the wall. His gaze flitted around the room and landed on Raven, who was snoring on the floor again. Tyler looked up as he heard Andi get up. "Oh, I didn't know you could cook." He teased her, slowly getting up. "Plus you do enough, maybe ill cook something. So you can laugh at my terrible food." Tyler chuckled slightly walking over and opening the fridge. He took out... deer meat. Then he went to a cupboard and grabbed potatoes. Then to the fridge again and took out mozzarella cheese. Tyler started cooking the venison and the potatoes on the stove... then he waited.

Andi rolled her eyes with a slight smile at his teasing, she stopped searching the cabinets when he got up "Oh okay, just don't let your cabin burn down" She grinend before sitting on top of the counter, making sure he had enough room for him to cook. She watched all the things he pulled out "You aren't going to try and posion me right?" She teased before looking back up at him, the food he had pulled out look like it would be a good meal unless he some how messed it up

Tyler rolled his eyes. "In all the years I've been on earth, I haven't burned anything down." He snorted, continuing to watch the food cook. When the potatoes got crispy and brown on one side, he took a spatula and flipped them. Tyler broke up the meat and waited some more. "Oh sure, I'll poison you after you healed me. Seems like a fair trade." He said sarcastically, chuckling. "No I won't poison you... this food will taste amazing, I promise." Tyler answered. He might not have been the most social guy... and this seemed very unlikely... but he was a very good cook. Just... naturally. Tyler liked to cook.

Andi nodded her head slowly "I totally believe that" She said with a slight smile, she really did believe him but still jsut wanted to mess with him. She watched he flipped the potatoes and put more deer meat in, she licked her lips starting to get inpatient about the meal "I mean I figured you'd want to get payback after all the needles I've poked into you" She chuckled as she leaned back a little on the counter "It really does look delicious I can't wait to try it" She pulled her hair into a pony tail so that it wasn't in her face anymore before loooking back at what he was cooking. Andi had never been the best cook, neither did people rarely cook for her so it felt nice for someone to cook for once so she didn't have to taste her poor unseasoned food

Tyler laughed slightly, wincing a little as pain shot through his ribs. "Oh don't worry, I'm very thankful I got poked a trillion times. It means my insides will be staying inside, and that's a good thing." He joked, flipping the meat again. Tyler reached for some seasoning on the back of the stove and seasoned it, then grabbed some garlic out of the fridge and put some of that on. Then he cooked it for a little longer before dumping the potatoes into the meat. Tyler let THAT cook for even longer before he put a bunch of mozzarella cheese on... a bunch. He let the cheese melt, then grabbed a couple plates. "Walla, food." He chuckled, putting some of the peculiar looking dish onto a plate and handing it to Andi. The potatoes were crispy and browned, but soft on the inside. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned, tasting amazing. And the cheese just topped the whole dish off. "I hope you like it." Tyler said, serving some for himself and sitting down. This was his second favorite dish ever... it really did taste good when made correctly. He had lots of practice making it correctly, that meant.

(Funny fact: In real life I make this dish a lot, and it is AMAZING. I wasn't kidding when I said it was my second favorite fish ever haha)

(oh my gosh that actually sounds really good! I've never had deer meat before but I'm willing to try it sicne a lot fo people say it's delicious)

Andi laughed at his joking "Well your welcoem for that and I'll happily do it again if it helps you" She smiled slightly before continuing to watch him cook. It was starting to look delicious and smelled heavenly. When he handed the dish to her, she hopped down from the counter and sat at the table "I need to start eating more of your cooking cause this looks so good" She didn't waste a second waiting for Tyler to come sit down too. She took a bite of the potatoe and meat together, she wanted to melt right away as soon as the bite hit her mouth. She finished the bite up before saying "I don't like it, I love it" She continued to take small bites trying to savour every bite

(Deer meat is THE BEST. Second to bacon. I was so happy that both me and my father shot a deer last year... we have so much deer meat haha. We make it in everything, this dish, spaghetti, tacos, you name it... anything that takes meat.)

Tyler glanced over at Andi with a smile. "I may not be the best person... but everyone I've cooked for said it tasted amazing. I'm glad you think the same way." He chuckled, eating a small bite. This batch really did taste astounding, it usually didn't taste this good. It was SO HARD to get the potatoes crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Most times his either ended up burnt or squishy... and that was not desirable.
