"fair enough," sam laughed. "yeah he thinks he can control my life even thouh he lives across the country, it isnt fair." he said, frowning just slightly and wipig his mouth to rid himself of crumbs. Leaning back, he gave a contented sigh and put his hands behing his head, letting his body fall down into the grass and flowers.

"No it isn't," she agreed lightly before looking up at the clear sky above them. "But I'm sure it'll work out for you!" She geed him on with one of her brightest of smiles. She watched him thump on the colourful ground before chuckling, "You know; it's nice down there until all the bugs start thinking you're food. Then you're on your own." She teased him lightly as she gestured to the ground.

Sam shot up from the ground, rubbig his head. "hey!" he said, half laughing, half annoyed. But he had a smile on his happy face as he dusted the grass (and bugs) from his hair and back.

Ellie's snicker turned into a laugh as soon as he sat up and started frantically dusting everything off of himself. "It's not my fault that's the way it is!" She replied swiftly, a whisp of a laugh following again. "So you're not a bug person, that's good to know." She made her voice sound purposely suspicious before she started laughing softly again.

"definitely not a bug person" he said, shuddering a little. He had hated insects and bugs rom a very young age. "i mean, who on earth is a bug person?" he asked. The smile came back to his face and he stuffed some more cheese in his mouth, he was hungry.

"Uhm... Bear Grylls and David Attenborough." She teased with an invisible smirk. "But I'm not particularly fond of ladybugs. They're the only bug I can't stand." She quivered slightly before grabbing another sandwich from the box.

"fair enough" he said, taking a bit of another sandwich. "funnily enough, laydybirds are the only bug i can stand." he said, raising his eyebrows a little. "they arent gonna bit you like s..spiders" he said, a shiver running down his spin at the thought o the 8-legged arachnids he was so very terrified of.

"Not all spiders bite..." Sje reminded him with a finger waving back and fourth, "but ladybugs just...I don't know what it is, I just have this weird hatred for them. Like I can deal with anything but a ladybug." She huffed as if it were a bother ot her.

|
"yes thay- hmph." he said, admitting defeat. He sas back in the grass, his hands propping up his body. When he dew his arm up to scratch his head, there was a jewel-red laydybug on his hand. "what luck." he said, smirking a little as he held th bug up for Ellie to see, grinning as she crawled all over his finger.

Ellie plastered a sly smile on her face when Sam couldn't really retort, and smug victory seemed to be floating around the air. Well, until Sam showed off his ladybug friend. Her expression turned sour and she instantly had her guard up again. "Sam, put it away!" She she almost shrieked as she shuffled a little further away from him.
