Camery Valatieri - Camery settled down in bed, eventually just slipping off to sleep. It was so warm... the fluffy blankets, the duvets... she couldn't sleep in a nest, it was odd, but it was lovely all the same. She awoke maybe mid afternoon the next day, and suddenly panicked as she hopped out of bed. "Why didn't you wake me?" She squeaked to Jack, who just shrugged.
"You looked comfortable. Plus, it's going to be a long night. You may aswell get some rest," he added, his voice calm but he looked so exhusted.
Camerys eyes softened, and wandered over to pat him on the back. "Help me pick something for tonight, then go get some rest. I'm gonna want you with me, just incase," she murmured. He nodded and stood up, going to sit on the bed as she grabbed some of the clothing out.
Camery looked in awe at the walk-in wardrobe, and excitedly went to grab some things to try on. They had everything a girl could want in there. The outfits all had matching shoes and jewellery. It was perfect. She tried a few on, though eventually they both agreed on two they both rather liked. Jack wandered off as Cam tried to pick between the two. |

Camery Valatieri - Camery stared at the dresses for what seemed like forever. It was between a midnight blue dress, with gold, lacy straps and a more traditional ball down type frock. She eventually just sighed and went to put on the first one.
It was pretty... a bit out there, maybe. Her whole back was on display, only really stopping as it reached her backside. The strappy laces were loosely fitted, leaving the front a little more tapered, while the rest of it was snuggly fitted. It was pretty... a lot more out there than she would have normally worn, but it nicely showed of the gold lines that still just hadn't disappeared. Well, it was solstice... they'd probably stay all night long. She did her hair quickly, deciding that she was going to enjoy herself and not worry too much about anything.
She popped her heels on, then the jewellery. She stared at her tiara for a moment. She'd brought it with her, since it was custom for her to wear jt. It was pretty, good with soft swirls that somehow resembled the sun. She picked it up and fitted it on her head, before heading to the door.
Jack was ready and waiting, his golden tie matching almost perfect. She smiled lightly to him before they made their way down to the ballroom.
He looked at her for a moment, though. "Camery, you look gorgeous, but is that not a bit..." Camery chuckled lightly and nodded. "Showy? Yeah, it is. But it was the nicest one in there," she interrupted before pouting. He was like a big brother to her... and she knew he cared, but she really was just going to enjoy herself for a little while. |

Camery Valatieri - The two of them wandered down happily, although once they'd arrived Jack went to to body guard mode, going to stand in the corner as Camery found her way to the drinks. She grabbed herself a glass of Champagne, hoping it would help loosen her off a bit and relax enough to enjoy herself.
She jumped at the sound of Malakais voice, but turned and flashed him that practiced smile of hers.
She glanced him over, a more genuine smile creeping across her face as she looked up at him. "Thank you," she chuckled bashfully, not overly sure how else to reply. "I mean it's all yours, you should have probably seen it before," she mused happily, gesturing to the dress.
"You clean up nicely too, hm?" |

Camery Valatieri - Camery raised a brow at him when he stated when that he'd had them all made for her... well, it was a bit weird, but they were nice dresses so she couldn't complain all too much. "Well, thank you. They're lovely," she chirped, running her hands down her waist to feel the fabric. "You shouldn't have gone out your way to get things made, though," she added quickly, though there was a thankful smile across her face.
They were all gorgeous. She couldn't be upset about it... but he had gone above and beyond to have something made she might like. She then cocked her head at him curiously. "So, Mr Negri, when're you make your speech? I wanna hear it!" She mused lightly. |

Camery Valatieri - She flashed him a light smile after a moment and shrugged softly. "Well, they're all gorgeous. I might keep this one, though," she mused lightly to him. She felt a light blush cross her face when he said she'd look good in all of them. It was a stretch, perhaps, but they were all pretty dresses. She hummed and took a glance up at the clock in the corner, just as the moon was coming into view of the circle window in the ceiling. "Well, you have half an hour to get ready for it," she chirped.
She took a glance around the room, pursing her lips slightly. "You did a pretty good job on all this. It looks good!" |
