Morgan sat in the car, her heart racing as she tried to make sense of what had just happened. She was so worried... she wanted to help him. Though when he came to the car, she quickly turned the key and pulled out of the drive, speeding straight into town, towards the hospital... there was no way in hell he was getting out of this. "God, Caleb," she whispered, her voice caught in her throat, trying tounderstand what had happened. He was covered in blood, the thick liquid dripping into the seats even as she pulled in.

"It's fine" He rasped, getting out of the car shakily as she parked. He felt the whole world spinning, he was unable to control it. He stumbled a bit to the side before his vision went and he collapsed

Morgan hopped out the car, and rushed acrossed the car to help Caleb out, trying to keep him up and walk him in, although she felt him diminish right in her arms. "Come on, Caleb," she whispered quickly, although by then he was already helf on the floor. She was yelling fror help, although tried to set him down gently, putting pressure on his wounds until some nurses rushed out the doors and helped her get him inside. - A few hours passed, and she was sat outside a hopsital room as the doctors stitched Caleb up. She was sat there, quietly, lowkey worrying as she fiddled with her fingers, waiting until she was allowed to see him again.

Caleb was now purposefully knocked out with medicine to keep him from feeling his wounds. He couldn't think straight. Where is Morgan? She's not safe. I need to protect her. Morgan. Her face flashed in his mind before disappearing a few moments later ~~ A nurse walked over to Morgan. "He's sleeping right now, but you may see him. Feel free to stay the night as well. We have blankets." The nurse said politely and softly before turning to tend to a different patient

Morgan sat patiently outside the room, although by then she was trying to keep her mind off of... well, everything. Caleb had been so hurt. He'd been so frail. He should have let her help, she could have protected him. She offered to let him stay with her. She told him she'd look after him, and she'd failed him. When the nurse came out, she looked up worriedly, although, after a moment, she darted into the room, looking Caleb over as he slept peacefully in the bed. His wounds had been stitched up, and he was safe now, but the guilt was eating away at her. She sat by the side of the bed, gently running her fingers through his hair as she watched his features, her eyes glazing over as she whispered how sorry she was to him.

Caleb slept with worry for another few hours before his eyes opened slowly. He winced at his wounds as they tugged at his raw skin and he moved his hand. "Morgan" He breathed almost silently

Morgan stayed with him, her fingers gently running through his hair. She didn't know how long it had been, or what to do with herself, but she didin't think it mattered. She loved Caleb, and there was no way in hell she'd be leaving him, not ever. When he moved, she shook her head and gently ran a finger along his cheek. "Shh, it's okay, don't move," she whispered to him quickly, looking down at him worridly. "I'm here," she promised, gently entwining her fingers with his.

Caleb took a shaky breath and felt a tear roll down his cheek. "I'm so sorry" He said shakily, searching her eyes for any anger or hate toward him. "So sorry" He repeated, reaching for her with a wince.

Morgan shook her head quickly at him. "No, god, no," she whispered quickly, pecking his cheek. "Babe I'm just glad you're... alive..." she trailed off, squeezing his hand gently. Edited at February 1, 2025 04:19 PM by Belle

"You weren't supposed to....see....." He said quietly, looking away from her to resist reading her mind. He wanted to know what she honestly thought of him since so many people thought the opposite of what they said.
