Mercy's head snapped up like a shot. Her brain tried to formulate words and... they didn't come out. She caught his gaze, staring right back. Her breath hitched and she blinked at him rapidly, flushing a full red. She bit her lip, squeaking out one small word. "...Really?"

His face went a little red as their eyes met. The intense silence in the moment wasn't completely awkward to the core. Slowly he leaned over toward her, shutting his eyes, well timed, and pressed their lips together gently, his head tipped. He placed his right hand on her jaw lightly.

Mercy leaned into him, almost instictively, and shut her eyes as he kissed her. She placed a hand gently on the side of his neck, tilting her head slightly as she kissed him back. The kiss went on for long couple of moments before Mercy reluctantly pulled back, her eyes fluttering open. "...holy shit." She giggled slightly, looking up at him and moving closer. "Why didn't you do that sooner?" She teased, tilting her head up at him.

He ran his hand along her jaw and off her chin as they pulled apart, his eyes opening slowly. He sat back down, then she leaned closer. He smiled at her. "I don't know, you're a little frightening sometimes," He teased back. "I regret it, you're- you're quite the kisser." He was clearly flustered.

She raised her eyebrows at him, slipping her hand down off his neck to rest on his chest. "Ah. Well, I try, but I think I have to return the compliment." She smiled, looking up at him, almost giddily. "Youuu should do it again. It's better than trying to figure out what to say. I promise." She teased.

He put his right hand on the one on his chest, giving her a dreamy look. "Say no more," He leaned back in and pressed their lips together once more his right hand going to the back of her head this time. He'd really been waiting to do that, but he didn't know whether he should or not til then. He didn't even know he really wanted to til. Til everything that had happened, happened.

She kissed him back and ran her other hand gently through his hair. She kissed him for about as long as she could before she pulled away and wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly and making the stereotypical excited teenage girl noise, which sounded like a squeal. She laid her head on his shoulder happily.

He giggled as she giddily wrapped her arms around him and quietly shrieked. He laid his left arm on her back. "Hey, maybe we should kiss more often." He said softly and teasingly.

"Oooh, sign me up for that." She nodded, giggling as she raised her head up. She leaned closer and gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek before looking up at him, slightly in awe.

He snickered, wrapping his arm over her shoulder. "Hey, does this mean I get to be your boyfriend?" He half teased, ..but also.
