Tyler was thankful Niki didn't argue, since she seemed like the type to do that and he didn't have the heart to turn her down at this point. He followed her to the building, entering and starting up the stairs easily. Tyler had always been stronger than average, and his years in the army helped with that. A wound across his chest might affect his breathing, but not his legs. He reached the top and went into her apartment without any words, even though he kind of just wanted to say *see ya* and bolt. Tyler felt rather flinchy in this environment, glancing around at everything. He did not sit down but stood near the couch, observing everything. "Thanks for offering help, I really do appreciate it." He finally said in his husky voice, glancing at Niki as she came back with the medical stuff.

Niki went into the bathroom and grabbed a medical kit along with a few other things, since she wasn't sure how bad his wound was. When she returned with the stuff she nodded with a kind smile at Tyler's words. "It's no problem," Niki says with a kind voice as she lays out the medical supplies on the coffee table, "besides you saved me. So I might as well help you with your wound." She then turns to Tyler and gestures at his shirt before asking, "Could you remove that? It would make it easier to work if that wasn't on." She made sure to not blush as she asks of this, since she did not want to seem embarrassed about such a simple question.

Tyler nodded at her words, leaning up against the wall at this point. He winced slightly at her question, but he knew it was coming anyway. -Hard to treat a scratch on the chest with a bunch of flanel covering it- He thought wearily, nodding before unbuttoning it and slipping it off. Tyler was quite a scarred up person, and sadly most of them were on his chest and back, but he wasn't going to worry about what Niki would think right now. Long, whip shaped scars ran down his back in many places, there was multiple bullet wound scars, and on his front it looked like he had been stabbed and slashed with daggers numerous times.

She thanked Tyler as he took off his scratched up shirt before her eyes landed on the scars on his chest. She made her gaze break from the old wounds and focused on the large, bleeding one she was supposed to be treating. First Niki grabbed some rubbing alcohol and a cloth, soaking the cloth in the liquid. "This is going to sting like- a lot," she says as she approaches him then starts to rub the cloth over his wound to clean it. She knew what it felt like to have rubbing alcohol on an open wound and she really hoped Tyler didn't make too much noise because of it. 'I don't want to explain to the neighbors why someone is screaming bloody murder in the middle of the night,' she thinks and winces at the thought.

Tyler did get ready for pain, but he actually wasn't too concerned. At Niki's words, he almost laughed... but his face stayed somber. He had gone through waaayyy more pain then alcahol on an open wound, and even though that hurt... it wasn't as bad as digging in your own side with a dagger to find a bullet that somehow didn't make it all the way through. Tyler just proceeded to brace himself, but he obviously wasn't very tight about it... until the alcahol touched his skin. Even though he was great at withstanding pain, he was glad he was pressed up against a wall. Tyler grit his teeth, closing his eyes. Everey muscle in his body tightened a little as he stayed completely still and made no noise at all, though his bain was screaming sirens. Mostly... -Someone is ripping open your chest, stop STANDING STILL- Was the message his brin kept trying to give him.

Niki continued to wipe at the wound with the alcohol until she had cleaned the entire thing. Once done with that she could examine the cleaned wound and sighed, seeing that it needed stitches. Thankfully her father had taught her how to stitch and she had a suture kit that he had given her for her birthday. Not the weirdest thing he had given her but now it was being put to good use. Niki prepared the needle and string, cleaning them and putting the string through the needle. She stared at his wound for a minute, mapping out the best way to stitch it shut. Finally she decided on a way and says, "Please stay as still as possible." She then begins to stitch his wound shut, making an x-pattern across the wound to close it up. Her hand moved with precision and calmness and it was a wonder that she didn't go into the medical industry instead of being a barista.

Tyler saw the needle and thread and didn't react visibly, though he did draw back very slightly. The alcahol hurt bad enough, but a needle and thread would feel like needles poking into his already hurt skin... of course it would. That's literally what it was. Tyler didn't speak or nod or do... anything... at Niki's words, but he did surprisingly keep completely still. Pain shot through his chest every time the needle went in or out, but he stayed still. When Niki was done Tyler let out a small breath, his expression pained. "Thank you for this, I am very grateful. Otherwise the wound probably would have sat for days as I smoldered in the woods... so really, I mean it." Tyler finally said quietly, his voice slightly hoarse.

"It's fine," she says in a kind voice as she cleans the needle and puts some of the stuff away. "Besides you saved my life. This is the least I could do to help you." Niki looked over at Tyler and saw a pained look on his face. 'I mean it makes since,' she thinks, 'anyone would be in pain with that kind of wound.' She looks at the medical kit and asks, "Would you like a bandage wrapped around the scar as well or no? Also would you like some pain meds? I have a few that can help relieve the pain a bit."

Tyler nodded, deciding Nikki was done and slipping his shirt back on with a wince, ready to leave. At her last sentence he shook his head slightly, turning to look at her a second. "I'll be fine." Was all the words Tyler gave before exiting. He left the building and walked in the shadows, too wary after what happened to walk in the bright street lights. Even with pain shooting through his chest, Tyler walked all the 5 miles home. His breathing was a little ragged after the walk, but he ignored it and went into the cabin. Tyler locked the door, and proceeded to make a sandwich. After that was done he collapsed on the bed and ate it, staring at the wall. Tyler knew the other werewolf would be coming for revenge, and he was a little worried about what might happen ... since he now had a couple long holes that had to get stitched back together in the middle of his chest,

She nodded at his words and went to put the stuff away. When Niki returned she saw the living room empty with no sign of Tyler. 'That idiot,' she thought with a sigh and shake of her head, 'why would he leave? He should have stayed longer to heal a bit more.' Niki sighed as she cleaned up any blood left by Tyler around her apartment. Once done with that she made herself something small for dinner and did a few other chores around her small place. Niki knew that should be heading to bed, but now she didn't feel very tired. 'Might as well do something productive then go to bed,' she thinks to herself again. As she worked she hoped that Tyler made it home safely and that he wouldn't get into anymore trouble until his wound healed.
