Iris nodded. "I still should have asked you about it though, instead of going off on wild fantasies..." She was wishing now more than ever that she had someone to talk to. Not just Caden or Kinley, but someone she could confide to who had 'been here, done that'. She wished she could talk to her mother.

"Hey, it's okay. Everybody messes up," He assured, taking her hand once more and squeezing it once.

Iris nodded again before hugging him violently. She relaxed into him, glad to have a solid, stable person to engulf herself in. She wanted to forget her confusing life and just stay there in Caden's embrace forever. But she knew that wasn't possible.

He didn't know what to do when she suddenly hugged him tightly. Caden pulled her into his arms, keeping her close and snug against him. The man wished he could have her in his embrace forever, wishing it was possible yet knowing it wasn't.

Iris let him hold her, loving the feeling of his strong arms keeping her close. Finally she forced herself to pull away. She shot him a sincere smile and stood, stretching a little. "Those chairs hurt," she noted with a chuckle, and put it back in its original position.

"Okay so it isn't just me who thinks that?" He asked with a chuckled, standing as well. "Feel like if they maybe put like a couch or something, that's be great. Plus~we're studying for like, 3-4 hours on average and they give us the most uncomfy chairs? How inconsiderate." The man mused,

Iris grinned, packing her stuff. "I know! So rude. That's why I prefer to study in my room or the library. At least there are couches in there." She said, making sure to flick the lights off as she left the room. In the hallway, she stopped. "Wait, I don't even know where I'm going." She turned to Caden. "Where am I going?"

Caden chuckled at her words, slinging his back over his shoulder. "Rooftop again?" He suggested, checking his phone for the time before putting it up.

Iris hesitated for a split second before smiling and saying, "Great idea." She wondered, for a moment, if Carmen would find out about this time, too... Best not to think about that. She fell in step beside Caden, heading towards his car.

The two almost walked in sync, Caden catching himself and shortening his long stride to match up with Iris's so he wouldn't get too far ahead and leave her. Once they got to his Corvette, opening the trunk and tossing his bag in before setting Iris's in as well. He got in the drivers seat, fairly happy as he drove over. The two did the procedure again, the hostess letting them skip the line, greet a few employees he knew on the way, up the elevator, up the stairs, and out onto the rooftop.
