Sage hummed and nodded. "The bullet didn't hurt your bone or anything....you'll heal up relatively soon," he thought out loud. He'd heal too, he just needed to make more blood. That was why he felt so shitty right now

Remy nodded, "Okay," he hummed.

Sage moved to tug Remy in, pecking him on the cheek softly, just glad they were both ok. Well....not perfectly ok, but they were alive, and healing. That was all he could ask for.

(timeskip to when they heal or smth? Idk what you wanna do abt drama now,) Remy smiled, pecking his forehead.

(yeah that works for me lol... we'll have to come up with some new ideas for drama xD) Sage just nestled in, picking up the rest of the applesauce to nibble at. They spend a few weeks mostly laying around, healing, until sage could do enough to start fixing the house up for them to stay in, and Remy could walk and swim without a limp or any pain.

One day, after breakfast, Remy turned to Sage. "Can I take you out to the ocean today?" he asked.

Sage was moving to wash up the dishes, bit turned to glance over his shoulder at Remy with a nod. "That would be fine," he noted lightly. "Let me put these away and then we can go."

Remy lit up with a smile, nodding eagerly.

Remys grin was contagious, and sage found himself just as excited, so he finished up dishes quickly before moving to toss on a pair of swim shorts and an old T-shirt he left unbuttoned. "You ready," he asked after a moment, wandering back out of the bathroom

Remy grinned and nodded, taking off his clothes. Remy grabbed Sages hand with an excited laugh, running out of the house and down the beach into the water. As soon as he touched the water, his tail appeared, replacing his legs.
