Nate glared up at her, that was enough to describe the fake offense he was taking. He hadn't realized he'd been cleaning so vehemently that it kept her awake. He looked up. "I'm sorry," he brushed a hand through his hair. Which needed to be cut someday. He looked over her and then down at himself. "Ffffine I'll go shower. If you're not asleep I'll-" he put his hands on his hips. "I'll be very upset." He pointed accusingly and grabbed new clothes, walking off into the bathroom.

Tempe simply smiled, watching him in a happy way. "Yes, mother." She said sarcastically, watching him stroll to the bathroom. "Just so you know... I don't plan on sleeping!" She called softly, shifting and waiting for him. Again, anxious because she was alone. She didn't know if she could've slept even if she tried.

"Good to know." He glared at her as he shut the door. It didn't take him very long, not more than fifteen minutes before he came back out. Tossing his clothes in a pile. He looked up at Tempe. "I feel upset." He said lightheartedly. He was just a bit tired. Enough to notice he felt like leaning on something. He walked over to her and smiled faintly, keeping pity and concern off his face. He sat down on the second bed. It was the closest to the door. And then he rolled over. "Did the pain meds do anything?" He asked, looking over at her.

I want her to be like 'wait, no, sleep here-' cuz she doesnt wanna be alone but I dunno if it would be wierd or not)) Tempe tilted her head at him as he emerged from the bathroom. "Why?" She asked curiously, returning his smile slightly. She fiddled with her necklace as he settled on the other bed, giving a slight shrug. "I don't hurt as much now." She shrugged. "So yeah."

"'Cause you're not sleeping." He grinned slightly. He watched her hand in his peripherals. He tilted his head. "I'm glad." He wiggled his leg a little, he was still..thinking about earlier. He didn't usually get shaken but most of it was sticking with him. He glanced at her fidgety hand again. "You alright?"

Thanks for the helpful insight)) "I never said I was going to." Tempe grinned, looking down at her hands for a few moments. Tonight wasn't going to be great for her. She turned to lay on her back and stared at the ceiling, shaking her head. "No. Why?" She asked lightly.

He crossed his ankles, his fingers laced over his hands. He looked up at the ceiling as she had been. "You're fidgeting. A lot. When you look at me." He started playing with his hands, rubbing a nail with another finger.

"Fair point." Tempe muttered, rubbing the heels of her hands roughly against her eyes and then glancing at him. "I have a weird request that you're gonna think is stupid." She muttered, staring back at the ceiling.

He turned his head, looking her over. "Why would I think it's stupid, Tempe?" He asked gently, tilting his head slightly. Wondering if he'd done something or if she needed something.

|
"Because its childish." Tempe muttered, glancing over at him hesitantly and tugging at her fingers. "I was- I was wondering if you mind sleeping over here with me." She stated sheepishly, watching him.
